My local Bob Evans never disappoints when I want breakfast. y'all know how I feel about blueberry pancakes. I've had them in too... many places to count. I am being generous with a 2 star review. The server Tiffany who I also has a previous bad dining experience with is a bit gruff... and tough talking for my likes. I heard from her on both experiences things you just do not say to patrons. They obvious havetraining issues and perhaps lack of management knowhow at this location. The meal I ordered was chicken and dumplings deepdish. Sounds good right? Well it is an absolute embarrassment to this establishment. Notice the first word is chicken. What Igot was an open biscuit on the bottom of the bowl, what seemed like three scoops of mashed potatoes on the biscuits, about 20rather small dumpling noodles, 4 or 5 smaller than a penny pieces of chicken that appeared to be from a can (they had no flavor)and some chicken gravy to cap it off. When I told Tiffany about how disappointing this meal looks, her response was well wechanged the dish and it says so on the new menu. Knowing my displeasure I falsely assumed she would mention the encounter tothe manager on duty. But as I said earlier she is less than a talented server. My previous visit a member of my party got asirlion steak that was tough and mentioned it to her and believe it or not her reply was "that is the quality we get in, we arenot a steak house" Now I like Bob Evan's and eat there a few times a week, but something has changed at this location and I amgoing bypass them. Chandler went above and beyond today. An older gentleman came in with a tear on his arm. Chandler brought a napkin and tape to... bandage the injury. He followed up checking to see that all was well. The service and food is always good as expected. Read more
Fantastic service super friendly food served promptly and great prices.
I usually don't have much of an issue but my husband ordered a family meal on-line to be picked up at 8:45pm with a few other... items and I picked it up. I got to the restaurant at 8:20pm and there was not a single staff member in sight. My bags werealready out for pick up, my food was cold and I was missing several items. I called the restaurant and made arrangements tosolve the missing dessert items. Besides having cold food, it was reheated and it was edible. Read more
