I heard this restaurant was not so good; but I am here to say that it was wonderful. The menu was great,the drinks were great,... the service was great, and the food was great. We did a call ahead for 2 people at 7 p.m. on a Saturday night. Although they were very busy, we were seated within 10 minutes.... The lobby was manned by a hostess, host and a 5 ish year old girl. Although cute, in my opinion posed several risks. Thephones were ringing constantly and she would pick up the phones and scream into it then hang up. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Why wasthis allowed? Our waitress, Karen was efficient, prompt and friendly. Our orders were taken promptly. Soup, was good but mysalad was covered up with carrots. Large, small ..covered with carrots. My partners steak was tender, cooked correctly, buthis broccoli tasted like fish!!! My shrimp and scallops in voda sauce was below average. 3 shrimp and 3 tiny scallops for$23.00. Stopped by for lunch on a rainy day. About 10 cars in parking lot, immediate seating. Got busier after we had left. Had the veal... Marsala with roasted broccoli side, and a salad with house creamy Parmesan dressing for about $22. Tasty, but the veal was a bitgrisly/chewy. Should be fork tender, but needed the knife. Blue Moon chased it down. My better half had the all you can eat soupand salad for $7.99. Server gets a b- for not being quite attentive to us. Read more

When ordering cocktails do not request light ice as it seemed as though last prickly pears margaritas had less alcohol.... Otherwise we received great value & top service for our dollar. Happy hour by far has been the best we've ever tasted, minus the"less ice" incident request on our behalf. The hot fresh bread, parmessan cheese on our soup, & tasty olive oil dip wasscrumdiddlytious. We opted for only one entree & extra side & for us it was more than enough & had leftovers. Nice place to eat I have eaten here in the past but service could be better. Last time we went it took 45 min for 2 orders and... the food was cold when it came out. First order was just a simple salad since there were no asparagus for my side order and thesecond order for the other person was a medium rare steak with a side of broccoli, I?m sure salad?s and a steak that isn?t fullycooked doesn?t take 45 min to prepare. I have been to several Carrabba's in Florida and enjoy the food. I have been to the Port Charlotte location twice so far and I... must say that it is the best location I've been to. The bread is always very fresh, and the food is amazing!! I always get thecreamy parmesan house salad, this location adds more dressing than others, which is great. The chicken marsala is one of myfavorites, very tasty! The linguine positano with chicken is also a good pick, This location adds more chicken than others. Thestaff does a great job as well.
