My husband and I eat here quite often and have seen ups and downs with this place over the years. Yes, I love their wings. I... will be happy to continue patronizing this establishment on the weekends. Mondays don't seem to be a good day to dine especiallywhen the restaurant has very few customers. At first we thought to turn off our invisibility cloak while sitting at the table.I even got up and went to the restroom. I learned it was much more helpful to walk over to a gathering of staff watching anothertrying on new Hooters sweat pants to politely inquire about service. The food is good. Been here maybe 3 times and the first two times we had no issue. This last time we walked in and no one seemed... to pay attention to us. It wasn't a long wait but once we ordered our food, it took a very long time. We got our appetizers andafter ordering our meals... That was at least 30-40 min. The restaurant wasn't crowded, there were more than enough "HootersGirls" around, and the kicthen seemed to have enough people. Not sure why this time it took so long. Read more
When I am craving wings, Hooters is where I go. Pair them with curly fries and cheese, along with your favorite beverage and... you will be in heaven. Food is always hot and fresh. Been here many times. Past 3 visits have been rough. Ordered 10 wings, got 8. Ordered celery & blue cheese. Brought me a bowl... with 3 small celery sticks. I asked politely for a couple more, the young lady (not our server but a food runner) rolled hereyes, yelled to the kitchen for celery, dropped it on my table & walked away. This latest visit, asked for a bottle of hot saucewhich never came, drinks were delivered at the beginning of the visit but didn't see our server until our food was gone. Drinkswere empty half way through lunch. Finally, no wipes to clean up the messy chicken wings. Been going here since they opened.Definitely, quality of service has dropped hard. Sad to see. Great location and great food here but this is the second time we have had ?Jendaya? as our waitress. The first time we got... horrible service. She was not attentive and sat in the corner eating and texting on her phone. We gave her a second chance todaysince we like to sit on the patio and yet again she pays no attention to us so we moved inside. The manager Tim was extremelyaccommodating and got us a seat inside immediately. This other customer was not getting service from her either and tried to askfor another beer and she couldn?t even put her phone down! We will be returning but requesting to NOT be in her section. Came in late around 10. We'll deserved after a long day to get dinner, yes dinner. While I finished up some last-minute work... emails. The food was delicious with fast service. Samantha the bartender was very professional and helpful. Hooters was a goodchoice for me to relax, fill up. Plug in my phone and finish up a long day of work. Ordered 10 hot original Hooters style wings,cheese curly fries, ranch and celery. So good, had to get a hand breaded buffalo fried chicken sandwich for lunch tomorrow.While I work up some hunger doing some more tree trimming in Rotonda, Fl. Had a great experience to which I will go back many more times. My bartender was very friendly even tho very packed on a Friday... night. I ordered the smoked wings in spicy garlic and got the collectors cup filled over the brim with fried Pickles. It wasvery delicious and brought out to me in a fare amount of time. The beers were cold but a bit small for a tall beer as it lookedlike a pint. Read more
What's to say? It's Hooters. You know what you're getting. As much as Hooters is known for pretty girls in orange shorts, those... who know, know that it's always been pretty good food for a very reasonable price. The Port Charlotte location has a nice layoutwith an L-shaped outdoor bar and an indoor counter to match. Situated right next to the Target parking lot and near the Mall,there's usually a pretty active crowd moving through, but enough room to keep you from waiting. Service is always fast andfriendly.
