No outside lights on, am disabled so I parked closer to the door for my safety... Manager told me to move my car... I was very... concerned for my safety... This was a huge fall risk for me and could have been avoided... Read more

For the price, a good deal. These are $4 specials with the double steakburgers. The side view shows extra free items you can add... such as lettuce, tomato, onion. Some people might not like ordering from a kiosk but it works and accepts gift cards. We'll beback tomorrow! Read more

Two out of the three times I've been to this location there were problems. After waiting in line at the drive-thru this evening... for about 15 minutes, I drove up to the kiosk and the young man told me they were short-staffed so the drive-thru was closed.Why they didn't come out and tell the people in line before we sat there so long and why they could serve me if I came into therestaurant and is beyond me. Last time there was a meal missing from the order. I guess shame on me for not checking beforedriving home. I'm done. Read more

Really disappointed by the changes at Steak and Shake. It's now a self serve restaurant, no servers or cashiers at all. Food... was still good, but we didn't like this setup, and we didn't like that there wasn't a freestyle Coke machine. (We wanted cherrycokes, like you expect at a diner!). Won't return, unless they the drive thru (rare). Read more

This guy has worked alone for month with no days off! There is not enough business to let Co hire more help. The food is great,... there is a border to rider and you pick up. It's change but if you don't want to loose our steak n shake please go there for awhile save our local business! The mall is closing let's not loose more here!! I think their food is great!! North Port is disgusting. Food was not good. Only 1cook, 1 woman behind the counter for drive through. Saw the manager once. No... employees are working. We are forced to order on that dam machine. Many people left and some complained. We didn't get our rightorder. For $21.00 we could have gone out to dinner. Our burger was very salty and thin. Tomato was not ripe. I know I will nevergo again. First time here. There is ONE person working! ONE..... And he took the time to come out to the kiosk and help a older gentleman... complete his order, went back to the kitchen and continued the four people in front of me orders,helped another gentleman withcondiments. I haven't even gotten my food yet and am impressed with the amount of effort the ONE person working is putting intoplease the customers. Read more

I am telling everyone who has ever been let down by this location to try it again. We decided to give them another try, even... after previous upsetting visits. We pulled up and ordered a rather "hard and longer order to make". They did apologize and makenotice that they were short staffed to tell us they were trying their hardest. We ordered and within 10 minutes had our long,hard order. We tried to order Chili Mac, and the manager did great us in a very kind manor to apologize and offer a refund forthe Chili Mac, as he made it and it just didn't come together. Our food was great with no issues AT ALL. (Everyone has to add 10things and take 4 things off, so its normally complicated) We were pleased to enjoy a nice meal, something I have missed having,but look forward to visiting this location again.
