I ordered a pollo saltado to go. There was so little chicken in the meal it was laughable. Any chicken in the dish were small... tiny bits, not strips. Shame because the itty bitty chicken pieces were somewhat tasty. Never again, there are too many goodPeruvian places in the area to waste your time and money. Read more

Pricing hasn't been updated on website, and portions have gotten significantly smaller (i understand inflation.... but come... on)... sad when they barely give you enough sauce for a large order... food quality has also gone down the drain... so sad. Read more

The best Peruvian Restaurant I?ve ever had so far! Saru is a cozy Peruvian Restaurant that serves classic Peruvian fare. I... ordered the fish ceviche and its one of the best ceviches I?ve had in a while. They interplay textures - the soft buttery fishtopped with popped corn kernels. Its a masterpiece of a dish and you can clearly taste and see that they thought about how tomake and present the dish. I also ordered the lomo saltado and it was perfect. Its delicious, savory, salty and flavorful. Youcant go wrong ordering this dish because it will leave you satisfied. Of course I had to order the Peruvian Roast Chicken. Andfor me, this is the most bang for your buck meal that you can have. They serve massive portions of that chicken (even though Ionly ordered half) then served with french fries, salad and that green Peruvian sauce. When you are hungry and in portchester,NY come visit this place. You will leave full and satisfied. Read more

My older sister recommended me here, and it?s underrated since it has varieties of options! I chose Arroz Chaufa de Tofu,... something that?s hard to find! And there were other Arroz Chaufa options: with chorizo or with hot dogs! Read more

Excellent service, food came out fast, hot and fresh. I got the Half chicken with side salad and rice. I wish the salad had a... little more in it. The chicken was great and there was plenty of it. Read more
