Wonderful service at this little restaurant bar and grill. A lot bigger on the inside than we expected. Although quick, the food... was mediocre, not really much seasoning or flavor from the actual meat. The chicken was plain and not cooked long enough to mytaste. The sauces are good. Food is hot and delicious. Burgers are especially tasty, and don't miss out on the Port Cuban sandwich-- so good! Lots of yummy... appetizers (we love the thick-cut fried pickles). Servers are attentive. All-around great experience. Read more
What a great restaurant in Port Clinton, after a long day at Put in Bay, we decided on Slater's. Great atmosphere, outstanding... fresh perch, NY strip steak, home cut fries, with a great staff, friendly and prompt service. Live band was a nice touch, andeven the kids loved it. The entire place needs re-done from the décor, lighting, atmosphere, wait staff, hostesses, cleanliness, attitudes, food and... everything else. Our last time there. Got a one star because the fries were good. Could name at at least 5 complaints butwon't. Just won't be back. Read more
We got takeout and everything was amazing! The boneless wings (Spicy BBQ) and the Southwest Eggrolls were amazing! We are... usually picky with our boneless wings but these were by far the best we have tried in the area thus far! Highly recommend! Can?twait to try more wing flavors and other menu items! Read more
There's nothing remarkable about this place. Grilled vegetables are just bagged frozen broccoli cooked to mush and then tossed... on the grill for a minute. I'd have preferred properly cooked frozen vegetables if they just up front with what they wereserving. The grilled chicken breast was bland. Homemade fries were soggy. Salad was on par with the rest of our food. The tablenext to us were eating burgers that they seemed to be enjoying. Maybe I'll try that next time. Read more
