When we walked in we were greeted right away. We asked for the outdoor dining area and we sat out on the deck with a beautiful... water.. They were very friendly courteous and quick to get your drinks and everything out. For food I got the brisket and alsoa jalapeno sausage link with french fries. It was good and the flavors were spot on.. The only thing I could possibly say isthat the portion size is rather small for the amount of money I paid. My daughter got the brisket burger with french fries andshe said it was very well done and she loved it. My wife got the pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese and French fries. Shealso thought the food was great as well. We will be going back and the outdoor seating is highly recommended its beautiful. Butso is the inside as well. Read more
Very delightful BBQ joint. The food was great, the service was fabulous, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. There was... live music, but it wasn't overpowering or too loud. They have a good selection of food that is gluten sensitive and my husbandreally enjoyed his options. We definitely recommend! Read more
Great lake view restaurant with excellent barbecue meats. Nicely paved lot with lots of parking spaces. Fun over-sized... Adirondack chair, perfect for photo opportunities. Clean and updated interior, open floorplan with big windows overlooking thelake. Nice staff, polite, but understaffed. Amazing BBQ sauce recipes, diverse flavors and 2 very hot options! A fantastic location with an even better deck that provides an excellent dining experience! We had a very good experience... recently and the service was very good although the restaurant was busy for a Monday evening. The food was very good BBQ. Myson ordered some brisket that was very tasty. And I ordered a brisket smash burger. The smash burger was very good. But thefries tasted like they might have been overcooked. To the point that I barely touched them. And when you order a burger... youexpect the fries to a part of that meal! I was planning on dipping the fries in the different BBQ sauces that are available. AsI said... the burger was good... but it was nothing exceptional. I was expecting more since it was a brisket smash burger andnot just a burger. Overall we had a very enjoyable experience. Been eyeing this place for a while and finally made it. The location, view is great. The waiting area was very nice as you will... need to wait in it. The wait time was not horribly long. Got the nachos for the appetizer, it would of been flawless if therewas more chips. They were very good. Pork, chicken, brisket were very fresh and tasty. The smoked chicken was the big surprise.It was much better than I anticipated. The jalapeño sausage was kinda of dry and the hottest jalapeño sausage I have everhad. Cole slaw, Mac and cheese, French fries, were all top notch. The baked beans were only ok. The carrot cake was mediocreat best. This place is not cheap but I do not mind paying for good food. The barbecue meat is really good, but ? when I asked for an extra side of dry rub they gave me a large container with little... more than a half-teaspoon of dry rub. The quarter chicken entree was very small and I had to order another side of 6 wings(they only had one quarter chicken and ran out) which were also good, but again, they were skimpy on the dry rub. I absolutelylove mixed greens, BUT, these were saturated in buttered garlic, not in a vinegar based solution like I?m used to. In fact, Ihad to ask for a bottle of malt vinegar to rinse them in to make them edible. ???? And their draft beer selection is mostlynothing but candy, and pine tree flavored beers, and only Bud-Light, and Lite for those of us that just want a beer flavoredbeer. ???????????? Read more
Typically don't eat out for barbecue. The best is Usually on my own smoker. However we heard about taco Tuesday... My wife and... I got a beef pork biscuit and traditional and traditional taco. They were very very good. The pico sauce and the green tomatoessauce made them extremely good. They used a unique unique spicy slaw on all of them and it was very good. We will be back Read more
