The food here is good. I had a bison burger and wifey had a chicken bacon wrap. They have a nice selection of beer and whiskey... if that's your thing. Been there several times and will definitely go back. Service was fine. We were seated quickly and ourwaiter was attentive and quick. The vibe in here was good but very closed off. There are no windows and it seems a bit more darkinside than fun. The last time we were here they had a live band and while they were fun it was super loud not sure if it'salways this way. Read more
My 1st time there, but with a group of 24 eighty year olds...???? I never heard our server's name (??), but perhaps they should... have assigned 2 servers to this large group? I say this because it was very confusing when delivering orders (food runnersasking us to claim our specific orders). Prior to ordering we had physically split into 2 groups. My ½ were at tables of 6, theothers seated together, buffet style. Example (at my table): I got my complete (but simple) order of Veggie Flatbread in the1st delivery-sweep as did 2 others' complete orders of identical Prime Rib dinners. One person got her soup, but long afterfinishing that she had to ask about her salad. Another got her hot Philly cheese hoagie* but not her soup, the person next toher ordered the identical order, but got nothing for quite a while (eventually he got his hoagie*). Those 2 soups didn't arriveuntil after everyone was done eating & they'd inquired. EVERYONE at our table enjoyed our choices. * The hoagies weren't hot,neither was my Flatbread. Great food and drinks. Would be better if sides and drinks were listed in the menu. Feels like you can't get a drink (alcoholic... or non-alcoholic menu) unless you know what you want. That being said food was amazing! Bourbon burger and prime rib were bothgreat. Also my waitress made me a pink sunset. I'm thinking it was pink lemonade and Malibu rum... It was delicious ???? Great food, friendly service!!! Recommended by Veronica at the Holiday Inn Express. Good choice and close by. The pineapple... chicken teriyaki was awesome. I had mashed potatoes and my wife had rice pilaf both excellent. Vrielly the bar tender was great! Read more
Stopped in on the way home from Put In Bay. The hostess told us they were short-staffed and might take a while to serve a party... of 12. The service and food was exceptional! You would have never known they were short-staffed. I had the bang bang wrap and itwas delicious! I live 2 hours from this place and would drive back just for that shrimp. Also, really big portions. Always very delicious! Nice portion sizes and a huge menu await you. (It's almost too big!) There are so many unique and tasty... choices! Not happy that the lobster bisque is no longer on the menu though, because we drove 3 hours just for that! ???? Read more
We go to Waldo Pepper's every summer when we compete at Camp Perry and absolutely love the place, the food and the staff. We... never had a better time than last week when we stopped there enroute to Indiana. Our server, Briley, was absolutely the bestever. She is so professional and so much fun, we'll be sure to swing by on our way home! Cheers!! Read more
