The Brie-LT and spinach, swiss, onion, mushroom paninis on home made bread were to die for! The creamy mushroom soup of the day... was perfect for dunking. The owner Brie and our server Monica were as hospitable, welcoming, and charming as the café itself.Thank you for everything! I?m mad I didn?t get more pics but everything was absolutely delicious! Our server said all items are made in-house and I... believe it. The tartar sauce for the pan-fried perch and potatoes was the best I?ve ever had. I only got a shot of this pecanpie my brother-in-law had but no pic would have done anything justice anyhow. You could taste the freshness and homemadeattention to detail. Definite recommending anyone in the area try this place out. Read more

My friends and I decided to give this little bistro a try for brunch. Upon arriving we were seated immediately in the outdoor... patio. Our table was dirty with bits of food (probably from the previous guests). We had to ask the server to clean thetable. We ordered 3 dishes: the quiche, seafood pasta & eggs benedict with ham. Portions are an average size. I enjoyed allthree dishes. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict was a highlight. What a wonderful Bistro the Flying Squirrel is! My hubs Laur and I ride our bikes on a regular basis from St. Catharines to... Port Colborne and back. Laur went on the www and this place came up. It was better than we could have imagined. Very interestingdécor. Excellent food and lots of if. Lots of choices for vegans or carnivores or anywhere in between. And our server wasexcellent. The food and drinks were very well priced. If you want a licensed beverage, you can have one. And they have a hugearray of fabulous looking desserts. We'll be back! Read more
