I had the pleasure of being able to try Mom Dukes the other night for dinner for the first time and it was an amazing... experience! I had a large curry goat meal which was delicious and very filling. The owner and her husband were extremelyfriendly, very helpful and polite. Mom Dukes catered a small event we had at our place a few weeks ago. Not only was everyone blown away with the flavours but also... the quality of ingredients used, everything was so fresh. Paula was able to accommodate the spice level for the kids withoutcompromising on taste. The beef patties were a hit, we now buy them as a snack when we pass by. Congratulations on the 1 year anniversary! I think I might start coming here on a weekly basis. The food is so good, so... flavourful with the right amount of spice at a fair price. So happy to discover this fantastic gem! Fantastic homestyle Jamaican food - not too spicy and full of flavour. Portions were... generous, and everything was fall-off-the-bone tender. We tried the jerk chicken, oxtail and curry chicken. Honestly, all werefantastic, but the jerk chicken was voted the family favourite. My fiancee and I were there on May 26th and we both wondered where Mom Dukes' has been all our lives - the food is exceptionally... tasty and you could really see the heart, soul, and pride that goes into the food. This is truly what home cooking and comfortfood is! Also, she's very pleasant to speak with and will answer any questions you have about a menu item. We got two LargeOxtail with Rice and Beans, Two corn bread, one beef patty, lots of drinks, and two coconut treats. We can't decide ourfavourite! First time trying Mom Dukes Authentic Jamaican Cuisine. I had the pleasure of being served by ?Mom? she was very friendly and... informative about the meal I had ordered after I had mentioned it was my first time there. I am so happy I found this place! Bigportions at fair prices. The food is served hot and ready to go. That spice is making my mouth water just thinking about it withthat chicken that falls right off the bone ????. Picked up a large jerk chicken combo with rice and coleslaw, I also grabbed anextra side of the yellow (spicer) sauce. Mixed it all into my rice and I?ve gotta say.
