The kitchen here is under different management and the food was very good and reasonable! Staff was very friendly!!
The bun was way to big aand patty to small. 50bucks for two beers a hot dog hamburger and fries.

Good spot to sit and eat or drink. Alright pub food for the price and good drinks too. Staff was real nice and the atmosphere... was good for a weekend get out. Only went a few times but they we're fun nights. The staff was also nice ???????? and servicewas fast and tight. Only negative would be the lighting which was off a bit and one light would flicker. Food: We all had the fish and chips and they were delicious. They weren't battered, as you would expect in a pub, instead they... were coated with I say panko, though my sister thought they were breaded, either way, the coating had herbs and was crispy andtasty. The "fish dip" as my kids call it, was also very good. I say fish dip because it was quite different from the standardtartar sauce. With the usual battered haddock, I would have enjoyed it more, but the fish dip was a little too overpowering forthe herb coating, lemon suited it better. The expected coleslaw was quite nice and not too sweet, with a vinegar dressing, nota mayonnaise one. The fries were fresh but the food was served in those plastic baskets with only one sheet of checked paperfolded into a triangle, so crumbs fell through to the table, which was messy. Service: The ladies were very polite andwelcoming. The bartender was quick to greet us. She told us cash only as soon as we sat down, let us know there was an ATM atthe back, took our drink orders and told us thd cook would take our food orders. We even had to pay separately, all of whichseemed strange to me. Then the cook told us that only deep fried food was available!?! Luckily we were all happy to have thefish and chips. Atmosphere: Very bare, but clean. We are talking bare wood tables, floor, chairs, 2 big TVs with 2 differenthockey games playing. The place was mostly empty because strangely enough, even on a Saturday night not many people were keen togo out into the gusting winds, 14 inches of snow and unplowed roads. One of the reasons we chose it was because it was only 350meters from my sister's house, so we could walk there and my sister said it typically had decent pub food.
