What a horribly slow and poor experience (October 29th around 2:30pm)! In recent months when I?ve come into this location... there?s been one specific employee who always seems to have a really crappie attitude and demonstrates no sense of promptcustomer service whatsoever. Today was the worst?almost a 25 minute wait for a cheeseburger and fries and low and behold, whopops out from the grill area but the exact same employee!! I wasn?t the only one, there was a big backlog of orders. There werea number of people that were waiting really long for their hot meals. And to top it all off, my son said the fries were horribleso we ended up tossing them. It?s getting to the point that I?m going to avoid this location and drive further to the CoastMeridian location. Sadly, this one employee was making things unpleasant for the other employees that were in the unfortunateposition of giving the completed orders to customers because I repeatedly heard them apologizing for the long wait. I go to this location often for 2 reasons They will always honour your deals best to my knowledge unlike the store at Lougheed... mall which told me they couldnt give me a dipped cone as per my deal and I had a similar issue with the DQ at Coquitlamcentre. I reached out and asked why to the customer service and was given an unsatisfactory answer as to some of the stores werenot equipped to do so ir something like that so I went to McDonald's and got my ice cream and bought a meal there as well Afterall if DQ did not want to honour my deal no sense buying from there. This location is one of the best for service as everytime ihave been there anybody who has served me has honored the coupons and deals with out question and provided me with examplaryservice. Most of the workers are young and full.of energy. They're very customer focused and helpful students. I hope themanager of this store recognizes their value and importance for repeat customers. So whenever i have a craving for anythingsweet this is my go to store always. Check them out. I dont think you'll have any regrets. And as for the Coquitlam centre DQand the Lougheed Mall DQ. I hope the District Manager emphasizes the relevance of accepting coupons and deals put out byDQ. Otherwise it causes the customer issues that are not needed. Twice in the past month I've gone there to get treats for my wife and I in the evening. Both times the service was extremely... slow. Taking over 10 minutes to take the orders of 3 other people infront of me. And both times the staff forgot or lost myorder. I was waiting around for 15+ minutes before finally asking about it and being told they didn't have it. The staff arenot friendly or polite. Cooks in the kitchen could be heard up front swearing, not good for a place lots of young familiesvisit. Conditions look dirty all the time. And the service is terrible. Update 2022-03-16: Thank you to the DQ management team who reached out and promised to address earlier concerns. I popped by... today with a small group and our orders were quick, and service was brisk and friendly. Was glad to see theimprovement! Previously reviewed: I want to like this DQ and support a local operator, but the last 3 or 4 visits have beenfrustrating because of long wait times, incorrect orders or ordered items made wrong. Last night, staff outnumbered customersand I still waited 22 minutes for a parfait and mini Blizzard. Read more

Food was raw I asked for no salt and the poutine has salt. Waste of $40. And I have to wait 23 minutes

The food is good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Ice cream cakes are great! There is an appropriate size of playground... for smaller kids to play, which is really nice. The place, however needs a bit cleaning as the floor and tables are sticky. Read more
