Update October 24, 2022 Highway robbery!! $7.30 for a hot chocolate with oat milk??!!! I understand these are inflationary times... but I have no idea why this establishment feels they can gouge customers like this. You've lost a customer as I will not becoming back here again!! Today was another great example of why I typically almost always regret giving my local coffee shop mybusiness instead of hopping in the car and heading to Starbucks. It's beyond frustrating when you order your beverage extra, extra hot with no foam and what you receive is lukewarm and full of foam. It's almost like there was no point in even askingbecause your request was completely ignored and it seems that your beverage was made the only way the staff knows how. To add tothe disappointment, after waiting over 15 minutes to receive my order, you have absolutely no interest in requesting that yourbeverage be remade and end up waiting who knows how long all over again. It's pretty bad when you would prefer to go withoutrather than wasting the $7.30 (large mocha with oat beverage) and dealing with the regret afterwards. Read more

I?m a new customer at Waves on Shaughnessy St. I recently moved to the area and have been searching for an excellent coffee... shop. I think I found my new spot! The staff are very friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the food and drinks arefantastic. I loved the ambience and the two owners were so polite and welcoming. They went above and beyond to accommodateanother customer in a wheelchair. High quality service to say the least! They also had lots of vegan options as well. If you?relike me and you?re looking for a place to enjoy the perfect cup of coffee, munch on a tasty sandwich, and feel like royalty, then Waves on Shaughnessy is the place to be! Read more

The lady was trying her best to keep with the glow of traffic while her husband/ brother/worker sat to the side and enjoyed... conversations with guests. Finally he came over and he had a sour attitude. I ordered the espresso frappe and it tasted likeice cream milk with the least amount of coffee. I was also served with massive amounts of the product dripping down the side. Imunimpressed ???? Read more

It's a coffee shop with nice treats and virtually the only large cafe style in poco and they don't open late. It would be so... nice to sit outside or even inside with friends for coffee in the evening. Read more

This place is bomb for how it looks and taste. The workers there are so nice and create a caramel Frappuccino for me. It tasted... like Starsbuck with the recipe, and it was cheaper! I was proud of how they have comfortable seats to be able to study with mygroup of friends. It has a lively atmosphere. Read more

Really good coffee with equally good pastries and sweets, staff is awesome, really helpful and super sweet. In the winter I?d... highly suggest the Velvet Loaf, it?s is a must! There isn?t many staff members so you?ll always feel welcomed and your orderwill be remembered If you?re a regular. Located in the heart of Port Coquitlam with an awesome atmosphere and seating, there isoutdoor seating for the ones that like soaking in the small town vibes, all the chairs are very comfy and they also have bigarmchairs on the inside so count on falling asleep! The temperature is always on point, very nice and warm during winter andcool during summer days. I also like the limited time offers they put out during summer, the sparkling lemonades are awesome! The pricing is fair, similar to Starbucks with handcrafted drinks being around $4-6, pastries around $2-8.
