My family and I travelled from Toronto for a road trip and Port Elgin was one of our stops. This restaurant had delicious food,... the portion sizes were great and the service was phenomenal. We arrived there on a Thursday which is their brisket night and itwas delicious! Definitely consider this restaurant after a nice walk along the lake. Shout out to our waitress Tiffany. Went there for my 18th birthday, and the service was excellent. I ordered the Cuban Pork Sandwich with Beef Barley soup, and our... group ordered the Four Cheese Spinach Dip as an appetizer. The app took like 10 minutes to arrive, and the rest of our foodarrived not long after. Everything tasted great! Idk if they do birthday desserts like some places, I was too full to evenconsider more food. Staff also worked well as a team. We went on Tuesday for dinner. Service was very slow. Once we ordered our food came quickly. We ordered the Rib Special + 1... side. My side was Baked Beans but when served it had curry in it!! I can tell you it threw off my entire meal. Yuck ???? Anyrestaurant that thinks curry in Baked Beans is good, doesn't know food. Read more
The service is fast and the server really knew the menu and beers on tap. Our party of 4 ordered steak, pasta, salmon and crab... cake dinners. The food arrived all together and was very well presented on the plates. The steak was cooked perfect and the mostflavour and tender I have seen in a sirloin. The crab cakes are a must when you eat here. My Wife had Salmon and She rated hermeal as excellent. Generous portion of fish and very flavourful. A little loud inside, more of a pub/ sports bar atmosphere thandining room but would recommend and We will be going back soon. Read more
