My wife and I are of Latin origin and we know the excellence of Mexican food. But it is worth mentioning the food of this place,... it is excellent, flavor, quality, texture, seasoning, but especially the people of Hindu origin in charge of the establishment ,cordial, friendly, loving, professional, attentive, always with a smile and good disposition, totally recommendable food andplace, the best in the entire peninsula.Alvaro and Marisol. This is probably my favorite food in the community. I've had it at least a dozen times and have NEVER been disappointed. I... enjoy bringing family and friends to try it and they are always impressed. Get the chicken burrito (the "small" is plenty offood) or the steak. I wasn't a big fan of the ground beef but that is personal preference. Read more
I always would take out from this place. Always fresh and good quantity. The enchiladas is so good. They maintain quality... without compromising on good quantity. The owner is graceful as well. One of the best places in Bruce county. Read more
We could not find a place to eat during the Civic Holiday in Southhampton nor Port Elgin. Either establishments were closed or... fully-booked. This is one of the few that was open and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food they serve. Havingbeen to many Mexican restaurants in GTA, I will confidently say that the quality here is better than some of the places I?vebeen to. Highly recommended! Read more
Have had the nachos( great price!), Quesadilla, burrito, Fiesta fries, churro s, all great. The burritos are massive, I'd... recommend a small (maybe half scoop of beans and more rice)and still weighs 5lb. Out of the types you can get; thecarnitas(Mexican pulled pork) were a fave.i tried steak and ground beef as well. And I get em fully loaded with all toppings.Good food, good price, and fast! This was our first time eating at this Gauc Mexi Grill location and after the horrendous service received we won?t be back. Food... was mediocre, and the woman who served my family could not be bothered we were there. We were treated like an inconvenience .Ordered three items, one being a kids meal for our three year old. He has dietary restrictions which do not allow him to havejuice, and I explained this to her. I asked if he could substitute for a bottle of water and she did not care at all saying noit only comes with juice. She could have offered him tap water in a cup, anything but as mentioned it didn?t matter to her. Weare talking about a small child for goodness sakes. Completely insensitive after we are spending $40. In addition to hersnickering at the cash as she told the girl who was cashing us out. To top it off she covered the nachos in some sort ofseasoning we never asked for and we had to scoop all of our toppings off into the garbage when we got home and realized she putit on. Beyond frustrating. Don?t waste your money or time. Plenty of other places out there who appreciate their customers andmake food orders correct. Read more
Walked in and it smelled so good. We couldn't wait to try a burrito. Lots of options for toppings. Sadly the burritos were so... bland. They had no taste which was odd considering it smelled so good. I got bean and cheese, the husband got beef on his, inaddition to beans. The beans had no seasoning. Husband said the meat was bland. We were so disappointed. We also ordered chipsand queso. The queso was not good. I'm not sure what it was but, if it had any cheese in it, it was not much. They covered upthe lack of flavor with heat. It was very spicy but absolutely flavorless. The service was great, but that was about it. Likelywon't return. After we ate there, others said they had similar experiences. Not worth it. Read more
