This locally owned restaurant is a real must stop in the area for a good breakfast. There sandwiches and French toast are great... and the pancakes are warm and fresh, unlike many other breakfast places. Jc?s also has lunch options that are quite good also,although I have much less experience with those options. Read more
We had to wait, but we were seated quickly. Great food (beautiful omelette!), great staff and the food is cooked within the... restaurant, so it's hot AND you get to speak to the creators cooking your meal! ???? We were passing through the gorgeous PortElgin & this was the 3rd or 4th place we'd tried to eat at but I'm glad it's where we ended up! Read more
Delicious food, friendly service, good portions. A must stop if you are camping in the area, and are looking for a solid meal.
Had a great late breakfast/brunch here. I ordered the breakfast wrap and eggs benidict with a coffee. Both tasted amazing! Lots... of flavor and fresh. Coffee still tasted fresh also even though it was near closed. Service was proffesional, nice, and let usstay a couple minutes after close to finish our food. The restaurant felt very dark though, not a lot of windows, more like apub/bar. I'll be back when I'm in the area. Read more
Has all the confort foods. Its like all the default items in a restraunt when you dont know what to choose. Waitress was happy... and humorous and the cook was cool. The butternut curry squash soup was very tasty as well as the beef tomatoe both homemade,the fish was subpar and great gravy with the poutine. The food was mediocre to say the least. The water tasted like dirty socks, the home fries were undercooked and cold. The bacon... was greasy and hard like leather. The cook had a cough/cold and was seen twice blowing her nose/coughing into a cloth and didnot wash her hands. The juice was good. Now we know. Read more
