My husband & I came for our anniversary dinner last week, as we got a gift card from family members. We were so grateful that we... finally got to try Saffron! The service there was very kind, and Jenn was very informative regarding the menu items. The teamworks really well to cater to all peoples' dietary restrictions while teaching patrons much about the culture behind thefood. Easily one of the best places to dine in Bruce County! Wow! What a find! A restaurant run by a Foodie with a penchant for cooking a whole variety of international cuisine dishes.... Although in a strip mall, the interior and treed patio are both delightful! I would gladly have stayed for hours as Jen makesyou feel right at home! Run, do not merely walk to enjoy this delight of a restaurant!???? Read more

One of the owners was very friendly and welcoming. The patio in the back was beautiful shady, perfect for hot summer days! We... got the West African Peanut Stew and the Trinidadian Doubles. The stew was phenomenal and a huge portion! The doubles were alsohuge and had authentic Caribbean flavours! I would definitely recommend. Read more

Incredibly friendly and enthusiastic owner and staff. Meals are made from scratch and an eclectic and as they say exotic menu.... Breakfast was the most unique I?ve ever had and it was also delicious. Highly recommend :) Read more

Saffron has the best Sunday brunch in town, heck maybe even the best I've had so far in Ontario! Always order the special menu... of the day, they never disappoint! And of course the Bollywood benedict is a classic ???? The portion is also generous and wellworth the price. They also have good selection of vegetarian menu so it's definitely the place to go if you're a vegetarian! Read more

We enjoyed Friday dinner at Saffron. One of the owners Jen suggested the curried Mung bean soup and peanut stew. Both were... excellent choices. Good portions, good service, great tasting food. The bread is baked in house and is terrific. We came backto Port Elgin for a quiet and safe New Years celebration during the pandemic. We ordered take out Lentil falafel with sour creamdip Chickpea salad Beef brisket burrito and for dessert Germán Chocolate Cake Huge portions, wonderful recipes, lots of choices, great staff, service and price.
