July 16, 2022: Warm evening; had dinner on the beautiful patio. Some tables had shade by 5:30pm. But entertainment does not... start till 8:30pm. Fish & Chips were excellent; pizza was fabulous. My Older Review: They have an excellent patio but weatherwas cool so we ate indoors. The tables are well spaced for COVID reasons. Their fries are home-made and among the best I haveever eaten. Two of us had Smoked Meat and loved it. One had fish and chips and could barely finish the large portion; delicioustoo. Prices were not cheap, but reasonable. This really is a very good restaurant and deserves to succeed even after the patiohas to close due to cool weather. Read more
Came for late lunch and very impressed. We looked for a restaurant with gluten free options and this fit the bill. We both got... the Fish & Chips - one with regular fries and one with waffle fries. The fish batter is unreal, the fish itself is very juicy.There was a extremely large portion of fries, of which I only ate 1/4 of and was absolutely stuffed. The local Brewery makes avery light, good cerveza- like beer, very light like a corona. Definitely recommend if visiting! Read more

The fish and chips were amazing! The wings were also good but could have done with more sauce. The Becks beer was not great I... don't recommend it. Becca was an amazing bartender/server. Even gave me advise on where to sightsee around the area. Thank youBecca, will definitely be back. Read more
So far one of my favourite destinations for lunch in Port Elgin. This pub has a really good atmosphere. The music is not too... loud and you can actually have a conversation with someone without yelling. The menu has a good selection of meals for oneperson or to share with others (the nachos is definitely big enoug to be a meal for 2 persons). The portions are big, the foodis good and tastes fresh. The staff is friendly and the service was fast. I only have good words about this place. Hopefully Iwill be able to try the patio in the summer. Until then I will definetly come back. Read more

In the heart of Port Elgin, the Wismers seems to be a popular spot to stop in and have a bite to eat. The place has a cool... historical vibe. We sat out on the patio. We had the chicken ceasar wrap with fries, dry lemon pepper wings and a burger. Thewings tasted great. We also tried their in house on tap beer. First time seeing on the menu - "buy a round of beer for kitchenstaff" - We did! :) Servers friendly and attentive. The transition time between taking order and receiving food took a longertime however we didn't mind as we were enjoying our time out.
