Food was better than anticipated! Outstanding yam fries and burger was good. Waiter was attentive and very engaging and helpful... with Port Hardy area info. It is a small local pub that doubles as a restaurant til 10 then goes full night spot...good valuegood food would definitely go back but would love to see a little more local flavor with the atmosphere and live local musicwould really add something special here! We had a long wait but, to be fair, the ferry from Bella Coola had just come in - we were on it - and it seemed like the only... place in town that was open. Totally enjoyed the meal and the serving staff were friendly, even though a bit run off theirfeet. Read more

Had the seafood chowder. A let down from the one I had the day before. It was OK. I asked for a cup and bread, then changed to a... bowl without bread. Got the bread anyway. It was grilled nicely. Upcharge of $2.00. Also had the wild mushroom pappardelle. Itwas quite good. Basically a mushroom sauce over broad noodles. Lots of mushrooms. Read more
