This is THE best place for fish tacos and polenta fries!!! And they do have a number of other fresh and delicious dishes. I... don't want to say "fast food", since that would not do their delicious meals any justice. So stop off; have a picnic at theirlocation (tables provided); or take your meal home. Omg. So delightful! My daughter had the quesadilla and they do it Mexican street food style with cheese on the outside of the... wrap, so good. We got just cheese and it was a bit just too much darn cheese. I'd ask for half of the portion of cheesefilling, and try the chicken. They give you beans on the side, you could probably ask for them to be put inside. I got poutineand it was yummy. We also got fish tacos.. their fish tacos are top tier. Definitely worth a visit, and I'd recommend gettinglots of the menu items to share. It's not cheap, but it's worth it! Read more
Very tasty and fresh and we've been big supporters since they opened. However as with most things these days, they've raised... their prices. $15 for three tacos seems like restaurant prices, not food truck prices. We'll still support them but it was justsad to see their prices increase like they did. Read more

A year+ later after our 1st visit, we have never been less than totally pleased with every offering. Be forewarned, they sell... out & close early. We have been disappointed. Today we were targetting the shrimp taco special. Fortuitously we went earlybird & snagged 2 of the last 3 orders available. These were exceptional. We had already decided if the shrimp tacos were soldout we would settle (????) for the delicious fish tacos, a favourite. The chunky beet salad is a meal & very, very good. I went to Rey-Ray's for lunch with a coworker and had an amazing meal. The only thing I would recommend is that if you visit... here, give yourself lots of time. The food is so delicious that it attracts quite the crowd at lunch time. I ordered the fishtacos and had churros for dessert. There is a great patio and lots of picnic bench seating options. Put Rey-Ray's on your summer2019 bucket list for sure. Read more
Rey Ray's has been on our radar since our move to Cobourg. We have been busy checking out other places and in September, La Tara... & Rey (the owners) took some time off. So finally, on Friday we finally made it to Rey Ray?s to test their wares?and let me tellyou? We have a problem. The tacos were great?I mean really, really good?like I would expect to get in Mexico on the side of theroad at a shack next to the ocean... good. Shout out to Coconuts in Cozumel? Back to our problem? they have Polenta Fries?andthose Polenta Fries?well?they are simply the best corn thing I have ever shoved into my mouth. Period. I haven?t stoppedthinking about those Polenta Fries. So my problem is?how do I even consider trying their other specialties?like Poutine? Imean?they?ve got to be good too?but how will I ever know?
