Have been hearing about this restaurant for a while and was glad to finally make it here for a late lunch. Had the lobster... bisque, Pit & Pendulum Corned Beef, and a Cappaccino Truffle for dessert. All were quite good. If you like Edgar Allen Poe, therestaurant is filled with eclectic art everywhere you look. Quite a diverse menu, worth the stop for breakfast, lunch, or alight dinner. This place is nothing short of amazing. After finding it while browsing on Google Maps, it's been a place I've wanted to try. I... had a sausage breakfast burrito, and it may have been the best breakfast burrito I've ever had, the coffee was great also. Iforgot to get the guys name who was serving when I was there, but he was spectacular and was extremely helpful and friendly. The decor and ambiance was second to none, with thousands of books available to read on all the bookshelves. I wish I livedcloser, but this will def be a place I'll be visiting again. Started out eating outside, but rain came up, waitress was very accommodating and moved us inside. Sandwiches are delicious.... Pretty busy and popular so service wasn't fast. But we were enjoying our Sunday afternoon there looking at the decor. Read more
Nice little bohemian tavern that serves tasty sandwiches, a good offering of beers and a full bar that is professionally manned.... Jennifer waited on us and she absolutely rocked it. She was patient with our large party (7 adults plus 2 kids), with goodrecommendations and delivered a platinum service. We are definitely going back! PS: Apologies for the picture of a partiallyeaten sandwich! I typically snap pictures before I dig into the food but obviously not this time! I will take better pictures ofthe fare on our next visit! This was definitely the right call for lunch! We had grilled cheese & soup which was absolutely scrumptious!! Travis was... absolutely delightful and attentive to us. The lavender French soda that I ordered definitely hit the spot for the long day Ihad already had and still had to come. But boy, did we hear about this place during out entire trip! This is definitely the #1recommended place in Port Huron! So glad we made it our first stop. As a literary fan, I had so much fun playing ?where?s Waldo?of sorts around the restaurant. Read more
Forget your book to read while you sip your latte? Don't worry, this is basically a coffee shop inside of a library! Amazing... place to enjoy wonderful coffee. Food was far better than expected. The atmosphere is even better than the pictures. Impressedis an understatement. I hope that I can enjoy much more caffeine in this world within a coffee shop for years to come! Read more
I had the absolute pleasure of going here for the first time ever recently and it blew me away from the beginning. The exterior... was absolutely gorgeous and well done. Once stepping inside its just as exquisite. Love the choices available on the menu. Hadthe best gluten-free belt with a delicious cup of coffee. I also love the fact that they support local artisans and have theirartwork available for purchase. I will be making plans visiting again soon, wish I?d visited it sooner. Read more
If I lived here, I would be here every week! Loved the almond joy latte I got, sinfully good. I had the bacon and egg breakfast... burrito and my husband got the breakfast pizza. Delicious, fresh ingredients and service was great. What a gem in this town! Read more
