Summary: If there was less than one star, this so called "Italian" restaurant would be rated -0 and is beyond an insult to... Italian cuisine. Ordered several slices of pizza which each slice was the size of: 2 inches x 3.5 inches. Pizza slice sizeshrinkage here! Approached a restaurant attendee at the counter with the slices of pizza and asked him, Is this a "regular"size slice of pizza? Reply: yes, and walked away. For this beyond insulting poor representation of an Italian restaurant, beloware the dimensions of a size slice of pizza in the USA: A personal pizza has 9.6 square inches of pizza per slice, a smallpizza has 13.1 square inches of pizza per slice, a medium pizza has 14.1 square inches of pizza per slice, a large pizza has15.4 square inches of pizza per slice, and an extra large has 16.6 square inches of pizza per slice. Customer Service: Noattention to customer needs et al. Staff: words can not describe the inattentive communication with the customer. As anindividual who had grown up in several family owned Italian restaurant businesses in the US and Italy for 45 years, this socalled "Italian" restaurant is not a representation of how pizza is made and offered in the United States (especially in LongIsland, NY or NYC, NY) or Italy. We used to like it here very much... but I guess things change. We went by with about 15 people for a very special occasion... (74th Wedding Anniversary!), we had reservations it wasn't a surprise. The night started with 5 menus for 15 people, they ranout of menus. No big deal we'll share menus. The waitress that was serving our table was also handling the party room. Ittook us more than 45 minutes to order and we didn't get entree's until almost an hour and a half later. Just to put it inperspective we arrived at 6:30PM for our reservation and we were served around 9:00PM and left just after 10:00PM. On top ofthat, I'm not sure what the kitchen was doing because half the dinners were cold or warm (none were hot) when served. I orderedthe Zuppa di Pesce (picture below) and it was actually cold. I had waited so long to get it that we decided just to finish upand leave. I can't recommend this place anymore, the experience was terrible and the food was no better. Read more
Tonight was the first time at Carnival in years and won't be going back for years. Great wait staff. Bread was very bready and... not crusty. Mussels in red sauce were tasty. Sauce out of this world. The eggplant app in red sauce also delish. The vealsorrentino was tasteless as was the pasta with the same sauce - and very lite sauce as well. The chocolate cake was a niceportion and tasty. About 30 of us went to Carnival as an after luncheon after a funeral. Unfortunately this was the 2nd time there for a similar... event. The food, service, drinks...everything were amazing. 5 course meal, waiter and all wait staff were so attentive. Highlyrecommend for any event. If they can pull of 30 not knowing how many to expect they can do anything. Great team work! Read more

Came here a few nights ago for pasta night & i have to say everything was delicious! I always order for pick up & the food is... very consistent, but dining in is just so much better! Prices are good for the amount of food you get. Our waiter was very nice& even though he had many tables he took our order & helped us very quickly. The restaurant is beautiful & they also offerparty’s & catering. I highly recommend for pick up & dine in! Read more
Very good food in a restaurant, known also for it's Pizza, with Bistro type setting. My spouse and another couple went to eat... there. The 2 men ordered the Zupe Di Peche Prices are upscale $$$$, a bit higher than what you might expect for the setting, butthe amount of food makes it a great value. Warning: if you dont want to take home seafood, just order 1 and split it. It was alot of good food that went to waste. Unfortunately, the waiter we had couldn't remember 1 of our parties order and then wasextremely slow about correcting it. Read more
