Love this place! If you are looking for a truly unique vegan experience and fantastically unique delicious dishes you must try... Fogwood + fig. Between there one of a kind food choices and positive attitudes, this is a must stop for a bite. They also offerbaked goods which we highly recommend. The store is hand decorated by the couple who owns it and has some nice artwork and plantlife inside. I was even treated to a new method of maintaining my own Mohawk ???? Hands down one of the best restaurants I?ve ever been to. Not vegan restaurant but restaurant period. You can tell everything is... made with care, intention and thoughtfully prepared. Delicious, fresh ingredients with a lot of variety. I can?t recommend justone thing bc everything on the menu is superb. I?d gladly return to port Jarvis just to eat here again! Highly recommended. It's my first time at Fogwood and Fig just coming from Poughkeepsie. I had Lunch and the food was really good, including their... Unsweetened Iced Tea Lemon Ginger. I got Alice's BLT which had pan seared smoke salted tofu, smoky coconut crisps, green leaf,tomato, house pickled onion, roasted scallion mayo, toasted on local seeded sourdough bread. The food is fantastic! We were passing through the town and stopped for lunch and ended up getting dinner to go for later as... well. We are well traveled and ate at numerous vegan restaurants and this one stands out. Every dish is so well composed andevery component is done just perfectly. An absolute delight! I never tasted Vegan food this good before. Fogwood and Fig have an exceptional mushroom and lentil burger... that does not disappoint. The staff are very friendly and allergy conscious- once told of an arugula allergy, they were quick totake note. They also have gluten free buns that are delicious! Accidentally found this place while I was driving to Legoland with my family. They had an amazing kale salad that I enjoyed... thoroughly. He also had a oat Bar cookie dessert that was to die for. Overall I really like the ambience and had a greatexperience. Afterward we took a walk across the Delaware River which is only a few blocks away. This fully vegan spot deserves 10 stars! Everything we tried was 10/10 and the service was great as well. The portions were good... and the taste was phenomenal. Everything is so decadent yet also healthy. The pasta special was really tasty and the meltsandwich was very filling and surprisingly tasted like meat even though it was a homemade patty and not beyond/impossible.Highly recommend for all Catskill tourists and locals.
