My first unusual experience at this particular store I came in to get aTall dark ,the cashier told me they didn't have any. So I... said I would wait for fresh, she told me they weren't making more this was 2pm in the afternoon. I didn't get that they areopen till 8:30pm. Why wouldn't they make more?So she up sold me drip coffee. Everything tastes good, but holy smokes this is the SLOWEST Starbucks location in Canada. Even with only six people sitting in... the cafe and about four in line ahead of me, it took 20 minutes from the time I walked in to get a breakfast sandwich. Noexaggeration. It took so long that they gave me a free baked good, without any prompting or complaining from myself. Like, theyknow how slow they are. I think they are slammed with mobile orders and they prioritize those over walk-ins. I empathize, but bewarned, if you're in a rush, mobile order only. Got in just before a rush at 0852, but took 20 minutes to get 2 tall coffees and an egg bite. One barista, was enquiring when... another was starting..manager stocking shelves, order taker and 4th person doing food orders. Coffee always fresh and hot, tastyegg bites. Read more
I frequent this Starbucks a lot as it is the closest one to where I live. Always excellent and friendly, five stars. This time... both of the 'Partners' who helped were just a tad less engaged, enough to be noticeable. Neither responded to my departing goodwishes. It was annoying but I'm only deducting one star because I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. It WAS, after all,just shy of closing time on Christmas eve. My drink was still good, the chocolate brownie still delectable. All in all, stillsatisfied. Read more
This is actually the only Starbucks I have ever been to when the staff consistently ignore customers trying to purchase product... from them. I went in today at 7:00am and had to walk out after 5 minutes because the employees just stood there with with theirbacks turned pretending like they were busy. This seems to be a very common occurrence at this location only. I walked acrossthe street to JJ Bean and was greeted by friendly quick customer service agents. I highly suggest some staff training oncustomer service. I will not be going back. Read more
