We made a reservation for Thanksgiving dinner after seeing their advertisement (attached) the week before. Our reservation was... for 6:15 on October 10 - an early dinner on the last advertised day. When we arrived we were given their regular menus andinformed they had run out of the thanksgiving special. Our disappointment was immense. What was the point of making areservation? They’d have known exactly how many specials to procure. I can only guess they openly offered the special toanyone dining with them during the thanksgiving weekend. We ended up ordering regular entrees. Nothing was done in terms of acomp to make up for their mistake. Nearby tables were also incredibly angry and giving the waitress an earful - not her fault,of course. My trust for this establishment is gone. My wife and I are new parents, and my parents are going through a seriousmedical process leaving my father with no energy. We thought it would be nice to not have to put effort toward preparing ourusual thanksgiving dinner. We were excited that Boathouse was offering this and looking forward to it all week. The parking here sucked. We were late for our dinner renovations because it all said "cannot park here" and their actual parking... spot was very small and it gets busy. Other than that, the food was delicious and the steak was fresh but I thought it was alittle bit small for a steak. The pasta was delicious tho definitely worth trying their seafood pasta. The parking here ridiculous, don't expect a actual spot in the restaurant parking lot unless you go really late. The food is... pretty decent. The steak was very fresh and tender with good seasoning. The coronarita margarita is amazing highly recommend itif you like margaritas. Read more

I and my husband celebrate our anniversary at the Port Moody location. Nice view, amazing service. The food doesn't match the... service. We ordered a mussel, but it is not too fresh, a bit stinky. The restaurant does the refund at the end. Also the FriedCalamari. I was surprised the present of the food is quite random. The dipping source tastes good. We also ordered mixed grilledseafood and steak. Those are ok. But, still, I want to thank for the restaurant preparing a free anniversary dessert for us. Read more

If you love seafood this is definitely the place to go. Everything on their menu has seafood incorporated into it. The service... was good, and the drinks were delicious. There was a huge party of 10 Adults and all their children there for a birthday partythat were sitting right behind us. We came for a very nice dinner celebrating our friend and the kids at the table behind uswere throwing food, screaming, and running around the tables. It was a bit disappointing because we came for a fancy meal andwe’re placed next to them and weren’t asked if maybe we would want to sit somewhere else. The parents didn’t seem to careat all that they were disrupting everyone’s dinner. I felt so horrible for the waitresses that had to deal with that table.Something for maybe next time would that if a table full of young wild kids come in , to maybe place them not right in themiddle of the Resturant and maybe off to the side so others can have a nice meal . Especially since this also isn’t thecheapest place to eat. The food was delicious but for the rest of the night my stomach was VERY uneasy. My fish and chips werea bit pink I noticed afterwards so I was a bit concerned that maybe it was a bit old or off. Everything else tasted delicious.Everyone really loved the shareable appetizer plater.
