I stayed here with husband, 1 year old son and our dog in the Seawood room over thanksgiving. We were really impressed with the... room, super clean, spacious and well equipped kitchen! The balcony was huge and although we were the furthest building from thewater, it still had a lovely view. We had lunch at the restaurant and the food exceeded expectations. I got the fish sandwich,fries were incredible. My only complaint was the swimming pool doesn?t have showers (in the rec building), seems odd forcleanliness of the pool. We think this is one of the best places to stay in NS. Can?t wait to come back for beach weather! Read more
Beautiful location in sea side room. Restaurant food, ambiance and service was good. However, resort facilities and service did... not live up to expectations. Pool was tiny and not suitable for swimming. On arrival for check in we were greeted with ?can youmove your car it is right in the middle of the parking lot?! (which was empty) No hallo smile or greeting. Customer service hasa long way to go here. On leaving our room at check out time, (there was no flexibility on check out time even in low season)the housekeeping team were waiting outside the door like vultures! Not a good welcome or goodbye. Went to the restaurant only. It was an excellent dinner. The ambience is very nice with ocean views from every spot in the... dining area. The wait staff are efficient, polite and friendly. The food was served in a calculated timely manner and veryattentive. We had salads to start both fresh and tasty. Our mains were a seafood medley and a striploin. The steak was cooked toperfection, juicy and delicious served with vegetables and small potatoes. The seafood dish was packed full of fresh seafood anddelicious. I highly recommend a visit to this fine dining restaurant. Comparable pricing for high quality meals. Read more

On the spur of the moment for our 40 plus anniversary wanted to go to a nice beach so we ended up for the night at the... Quarterdeck resort. It was over the top fabulous . Our room was crispy clean the view was over looking the Summerville Beach .We had dinner at the Grill which was excellent our server Kyle was a very friendly and pleasant fellow and the food wasexcellent. We both will be going back for an longer stay in the near future. This resort is a hidden gem in the most beautifulpart of the province. Thank you to your staff who made us feel very welcome. We booked for the start of our honeymoon. A seaside room. It smelled of sewage and was full of fruit flies. When checking out we... were told we would be issued a refund. That never happened. We followed up 2 times and was told it takes 5-7 days forprocessing. Refund never came. We were told today that we were lying. And that we would not have been told the things we were.Asked if the fruit flies came from inside our bottle of wine and etc. the room was over $450 for a night. We were engaged on thepatio and thought this would be a great start to our honeymoon. We were very wrong. Do not stay here if you have the choice.There are much nicer, cleaner, and more professional places to stay in Nova Scotia. Read more
We rented one of the cabins that included two bathroom, a full kitchen, and two bedrooms. The cabin was to sleep 6 however one... of the beds was a pull out couch which turned out to be extremely uncomfortable. The portion that supports your head did notwork properly. It would only lock in the sitting position. The location of the resort was absolutely beautiful and a welcomechange to our busy life. My wife and her friend went to the restaurant and was treated very rudely by one of the waiters. They felt rushed when the waiter tried to take their plates before they were finished. Overall the resort is worth the price tostay but only come with enough people for the two rooms. We will come back to enjoy again. Read more
I've stayed a couple times now, two nights each time. First time I was up in the hilltop rooms. They were new, everything was... fresh and modern. Although it's a walk to get there, it had a beautiful view of the beach. Second time was in the studio beachvilla. It could use some upgrades, but I knew that going in. They're obviously some of the first rooms built there. Thebathrooms are very tiny but it gets the job done. Steps from the beach and the restaurant. The food at the restaurant isfantastic. Zero complaints about the service. It is a touch pricey however if you factor in the convenience and fuel you'd needto travel somewhere else to eat it's not that bad. The beach is beautiful and large so even when it's hot out it doesn't feelovercrowded. We'll be back for a third time. Read more
