Went to eat at Bob Evans today with a friend . I've been there before , a few times no complaints. This time there was a... little miscommunication between the server and or original order. Not a big deal .the food came out and it's not what weoriginally asked for. So.now being a little confused instead of telling the person that brought out the wrong order, I mayhave said fried this time instead of what I originally said was grilled. We went here after Hurricane Ian on September 30 2022. There were 6 employees working in the entire restaurant and I am sure... they would have much rather been at home. When we got there the place was on a short wait nothing to long it was also expecteddue to nothing being open. There were a few people complaining about the wait but that is expected. We were sat and greeted byour server Angela she was polite and apologized for the wait and being short staffed as well as the limited menu, we told hershe did not have to do that as we understood why and what was going on. We placed our order and our food came out piping hot. Itwas delish and I tried something that I might not have if it was a full menu. The service for us was excellent and we enjoyedour meal. I usually enjoy my food there but not on my last visit. I ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits. After waiting a bit my food... arrived room temperature. There wasn't enough gravy to cover both biscuits completely and I asked if I could get just a littlebit more but was told it would be an extra charge so I opted to just eat dry biscuits for the last few bites. I guess from nowon I won't have biscuits and gravy at Bob Evans, I'll just keep getting them from another restaurant that doesn't charge extrato get the proper amount of gravy to cover the biscuits. Just did like 2 days in a row for breakfast here. It's always been a favorite of ours. Got the everything breakfast ???? the... first visit and the open face Omelette ???? the second visit. They were both ???? and definitely will be eaten again. Read more
We got a Farm House Feast for Christmas- the Ham dinner for 4. We are currently finishing our Christmas Covid Quarantine. The... curbside pickup was so easy and safe. The food was packed so well, with simple instructions. We were so impressed with thequantity and quality. The only thing we made extra to go with the dinner was sweet potato casserole. Thank you so much BobEvans! Our only other suggestion is make a Pot Roast Feast for 4! Read more
Did a online order for curbside pickup at 4pm. Arrived 10 after. Called and was on hold around 10 minutes.. waited in my car 32... minutes. Finally went inside and around 6 girls up front. I said I had been waiting awhile.. was told they still had to packageup..? Waited around more.. Sounds like the food was never even made. Standing by the window making sure my dog in the car isokay. I remember why I haven?t been here in 10 years, but my fiancé is sick and wanted chicken noodle soup. ** just got homeand got a cup of soup not a bowl like ordered , and the avocado on my chicken is BLACK. A friend had Thanksgiving dinner delivered for two. First, doordash delivery was late, since doordash always gets our address... wrong. The food was a disappointment, especially for what was charged. The food looked scrambled in the container, should haveused compartment divided containers, it smelled burned and was of fair quality, though it was cold; the portions were generous. I do, however, really appreciate the kindness and generosity behind my friends gesture, he knew we were recovering from "C"virus and i was unable to prepare food myself. I'm thankful that i had food to eat, even if it was lacking. Would notrecommend. Read more
