Our server, Ashley was awesome! She was really knowledgeable and made suitable recommendations. I was there with a group of... friends and Ashley recommended a delicious shot (I can't remember what it was called). I was surprised at the size...it was likea double shot! Definitely refreshing as described. We started with the mushrooms as an appetizer. It arrived sizzling on a hotcast iron pan. The melted cheese smothering the mushrooms was steaming and tasted so amazing! The mushrooms were well seasoned.Everyone's meals looked quite appetizing. I ordered the Fish of the Day which was grouper and topped with goat cheese, spinach,mushrooms and tomatoes with a side of grilled asparagus and corn. All was cooked well and very flavorful. Nice atmosphere, food is delicious. Photo is the Malibu burger and creamed spinach (eaten) and panko crusted chicken picatta... with green beans and fries. They would get 5 stars if they were not plagued with staffing issues like everywhere else. They weresuper awesome at resolving the problem. Read more
My boyfriend and I enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Malibu Grille last Wednesday evening…all the local seafood restaurants were... completely packed am I glad they were as we ended up having the best dinner and outstanding service by Kim!! This was our first time there and we would go back again. The ambience is very nice, relaxed casual dining, and our waiter was... friendly and helpful. I couldn't go 5 stars though as some of the dishes we had could've been better. I had the pasta e fagioliwhich was excellent as were my wife's crab cakes and my granddaughter's Malibu chicken sandwich. My Cobb salad though, wasaverage and the chicken piece was small, as was the one on the sandwich. The cheddar cheese was just shredded Kraft cheese and Iwas hoping for more of an authentic cheese. This is a very classy place. If you want to impress a date come here. The food is very unique and extremely tasteful. The fried... asparagus or the mushrooms will not let you down I promise. Great drinks as well. The service is like you have a personalbutler or maid. Read more
