I don't know where to start. The decor is light and happy. The food is the best I have ever experienced. Better than Mexico City... at the Zocalo good ????. On my first visit I ordered the Tacos de Pulpo with a Victoria beer. Three blue corn tortillas heapedwith tender octopus and filling that are drizzled in lime. Served on the side are rojo and verde salsas, along with a finelydiced pico. These are tacos that should be savored and eaten slowly. Each bite is exquisite. On my second visit I brought mywonderful wife. Laurie ordered chicken tamales and according to her they were "the best I've ever had." I tried a bite; yes,VERY good. I'll order that next time, along with elote. I ordered stuffed jalapeno peppers with cream cheese and bacon.Incredible. My main course was asado tacos wrapped in cactus leaf. I can't express how good they are. Stuffed so full, thesecould easily be four tacos. And once again, delicious rojo, verde salsas and pico de gallo. I can't wait to come again. Went here because of a recommendation but were disappointed. We were the only ones at the restaurant and our service was pretty... slow. We ordered Lolli corn and Queso fundido for appetizers and they were good. Then we had Arroz con Pollo, Wagyu Zabuton, andAgava burrito. The food was hot however it was just ok. Meh…. Service was good. Food was ok. It was hot. We felt it was a bit salty. We tried to order two things on the menu that... they didn’t have. The straws were too short of the glasses. !Warning! You maybe overcharged for dinner prices when you order for lunch. It’s kind of disappointing because we were happy... with the food, but we ended up with surprises in our bill. Specifically we ordered the fajitas which were listed for $13.90 forlunch and when the bill came they changed us $25. We asked if this was correct and they said that we don’t do the lunchfajitas on Saturday and also there is a extra $5 for mixing beef and ship. None of this was mentioned to us when we placed theorder. We thought we missed this in the menu so we paid, left a good tip and when our way. As I’m writing this review, Idouble checked the menu photos and there is no note about lunch prices not being valid on the weekend (you can even place anorder online for the lunch price). I’m fine if the price is $25 just make it clear in the menu so that there aren’tsurprises when the bill comes. Another issue is that the toilet in the mens room has no door. Other than that, the food wasgood overall, papa loca could have a bit more meat in my opinion. Service was good outside of the pricing issue, the atmospherewas pretty relaxed. Read more

Our Party of 4 came in late in the afternoon on a Saturday and had an absolutely fantastic dining experience. The drinks were... over the top great flavor. The presentation was perfect from the salsa to the steak. The patrons and staff were fun andfriendly and greatly accommodating to our little group. The tall chairs and tables by the bar are really comfortable and at theperfect height to enjoy the mountains of quality food that came out of the kitchen. Just ok. It was this past Friday around 5pm that we ate here for the first time. I understand people are short staffed, but... making people wait even 5 minutes for drinks is ridiculous, especially because the blonde girl was just standing around. Did not know this place was right behind AutoZone. Differently prepared burrito than the average restaurant like this. Pretty... good size burrito for the price. Clean restaurant. Nice staff. Burrito price was more expensive than others but that probablywas due to the way to was prepared. Overall not a bad experience and price. Read more
