Reviews for China Sun Buffet in Port Orchard, WA

A very popular and busy buffet. The downside of having a busy environment also means a lot of turnover and fresh food since it's... constantly being replaced. They have all of the classic, fresh, Chinese buffet food you would expect, but also a decenton-demand, build your own, hibachi grill, sushi selection, dessert selection. All for a fixed price. It's about 5 minutes offof a major Port Orchard exit, parking is seemingly always close to capacity but never had a problem finding a spot to park.Parking lot is setup around two sides of the restaurant so really no more than 100 foot walk from any spot to the frontdoor. You can have a single table or like I've typically done, 10+ people is an easy option for them to accommodate. Typicallyhave a dedicated server to take care of your drinks and top offs. Alway friendly and prompt. Read more

This Restaurant is highly visible from the road. Parking spaces are adequate. There is handicapped parking. Restaurant entrance... is handicapped friendly as well. Visit this Restaurant during peak hours. Don't come an hour before closing. They shut all theburners off and you will be eating lukewarm food. The food is overall good but some of the items are bland. I have visited manyAsian food Restaurants but this one rates at 8 from 1 to 10. There is still room for improvement. The Restaurant is clean, theStaff is really friendly and attentive. I would not hesitate to bring guests here. Read more

Food here is good, the staff are friendly, no complaints there. My issue is the patrons. They were so mean and obnoxious my... partner and I left. The usual being the "Banned from Family Pancake" scummy swine crowd that goes right for the buffet like asif they spent their last 5 weeks shipwrecked on an island before talking to a server. Like calm down there's enough foreveryone! So my advice to servers, if a customer is being rude to you and your customers. Kick them out and tell them to nevercome back. Don't bend over backwards for those who treat you like a doormat. Because a bad experience by garbage customers issometimes worse than a bad meal or high price. Something this buffet has never failed on once. They have all the pieces for awonderful business. To the hostess who helped us, you did your best and this isn't your fault, it's that customers fault. Thisfalls hand and hand to an epidemic recently and the virus is rude, entitled, scummy people who take advantage of kind people. Read more

Absolutly the best bang for you buck. $12.50 for lunch. $15.50 for dinner. This place is amazing with plenty of food options.... The food is tasty. I loved the grilled chicken. They did a good job of keeping the food fresh the whole time. I'll be a forevercustomer from this point on. Read more

Though we're still in a pandemic, we thought to support a local business. The fact that the parking lot was packed and we had to... park on some dirt road and walk to the restaurant on a Tuesday was a good sign; community eating local is always good. The foodis really good, especially for a buffet. I highly recommend the green beans, the honey walnut shrimp, the assorted veggies, andthe chicken skewer. The rice is phenomenal and we ate a mountain of it. Now we feel like a couple of Snorlax Read more
