On route to the BNL concert at Rama last Friday night, we stopped in to this busy restaurant hoping we could get a quick dinner.... It was 6:30pm and the parking lot was packed but a two minute table tidy and we were in! I ordered chicken tacos and theywere very tasty (and messy). There was a little bit of kick to the sauce that made them unique. It was crazy busy yet wedidn't find we had to yell to each other in our booth to hear one another. Wow. We usually go thee 5-6 times a year. I won't be back. Went to watch the Leaf game on the blurriest TV ever and had the... worst rubbery excuse for a steak and salad. Hostess was apologetic but I just wanted out of there. Was looking forward to it,but it was just a ruined experience. Enough so that it is off our list forever. This was the third time in a row we went to this location and will be the last. The quality has gone very much downhill here.... Our orders have been wrong the last three times and the quality of the food has also suffered. Staff are great. Food is not. Mydaughter-in-law and I ordered the chicken club and the bacon was a dried out reheated piece of charcoal. She ordered no tomatoesand of course they brought it with tomatoes and when we asked about it they just brought it back in and took out the tomatoesand threw her sandwich back together which fell apart while eating. Went for dinner yesterday . Service was great. I had lamb chops which were awesome .I opted out of fries for a casear ... salad . The salad was limp and tasteless the corn was waterlogged. This cost me 19.99 plus 1.99 for the salad . This was expensive enough but also they charge an extra food tax . Why ? They said it was to keep the price of the food down What !!! wife ordered a beer and lime. Lime was dry so she went to bar to get a fresh one. Our waitress brought it to her in her hand!!... She asked for one on a plate untouched, she then she got a plate picked it up with her fingers and put it on the plate. My wifewas told they don't have tongs! We then canceled the meals we had ordered, paid for our drinks and left. Dirty, and waitresswith attitude, put on gloves if you don't have tongs!! Went for lunch and got chicken quesadillas that had some sort of spice on top and it was delicious. Not sure why the reviews... aren't that great, service was awesome too. I'd go back and try the dinner menu and see if it's still a great experience. Givethem a try! Read more
