Best sushi I've ever had. The texture is amazing and so soft, you can tell they use high quality ingredients. I enjoyed every... little bit of my meal. The location itself is so unique and beautiful, I'm excited when we are able to go to inside dining. Iwill be going here for sure. Thank you so much Read more

1st and foremost; this is now where I am ordering sushi. A few friends recommended I try sushi here and as a North of 7 sushi... lover I chanced it thinking "why drive to Whitby or Oshawa searching for "good sushi" if I don't have to? I had neverconsidered a restaurant in Greenbank would be an amazing sushi secret!?! WOW, am I ever glad I took the chance. I too (likeother reviewers) have eaten my fair share of sushi. And hands down, no South of 7 sarcasm, this was the best sushi I've had ina long time. It's local. The person I ordered from was extremely helpful and seem to want my order to be perfect for mypurposes. And the food was amazing! The advice my friends gave me was the golden key to this experience even happening: calland order before they close for the afternoon, and then they make your sushi in the afternoon for fresh take out (now) for whenthey reopen around 5pm. If you love sushi and live anywhere north of highway 7 its worth the straight up twelve drive toGreenbank. Read more

Worst sushi I have ever had. I had had sushi at dozens of different places across the GTA (Toronto, Markham, Richmond Hill,... Aurora, Stouffville) and I was excited to try Greenbank as reviews were awesome. I usually gravitate to maki rolls and theSpicy Salmon & Spicy Tuna rolls were by far the worst I have ever has. Small portion of fish and they put lettuce in them. Ihave never seen lettuce in sushi. Once it's in your mouth the fish portion is so small you do not taste it. Only taste you getis lettuce and rice. Called about spoke to manager and she just said that's how they do it and offered nothing. Not good valuefor your money. Very disappointed. Will never go back. Read more

One would never know from the outside that there is such a nicely done interior hiding inside. One would never know from the... outside that there is such a tasty Thai menu hiding inside. It was a complete and delightful surprise to me! Food is deliciousand served with elegance. Both things up! Read more

Good food at reasonable prices. We all had variations of the Bento Box meals, plus we had the spring rolls as appetizers. Our... server was friendly and very attentive. The oriental cusine is a bit incongruous to the village setting, where a pub or fastfood is the norm. We would highly recommend it especially if your taste buds crave something more adventurous. This is my new favourite Japanese restaurant. We dropped in for a group meal. They're barely on the expensive side, but well... worth the price. Excellent quality. Update: The last few times haven't been so fresh. I think I'd stick to dishes with cookedfish only going forward. Can't be the same chef as it was when I raved about this sushi. Read more

This small family owned restaurant consistently offers consistently high quality Japanese cuisine. take time to notice the art... work, and restaurant furniture and decor, as the owner (Young), is a well known artist from Toronto ,and has made everythinghimself. His wife Jinny, is an extremely gracious host, making for an overall excellent dining experience. catch a Folk musicsociety hall show, and have a meal out. IT"S WORTH THE DRIVE TO GREENBANK !
