Have been here a number of times and always has the best food and service. Started our meal with a bowl of seafood... chowder...was excellent. We shared an order of garlic bread, which we can honestly say was the best that we have EVER had! Weboth had the lunch size haddock and chips...was so delicious...just the right amount of batter on the fish and the fries werewonderful. Our server greeted us so warmly and was very attentive towards us throughout our time there. Michelle, you made afantastic meal all the more enjoyable..great job!!!! Will definitely be returning! Stopped here on our way home from being in Peterborough and were pleasantly surprised at this location. The fish was very crispy... and tasty. Reasonable price since you get a massive portion and it remained crispy for several hours of our trip since wesnacked on it slowly. Very surprised! Thanks for the delicious meal. Read more

Wow, unfortunately the worst Fish and Chips ever. Nice pleasant workers, but the food was off. After eating it I thought ewww... strange texture and taste. Here?s the pros and cons. The service was great the waitress was lovely but the food tastes terrible it?s literally dry fish and... chips that has zero flavour. I?m still trying to figure out how they made even the fries taste like nothing. Don?t waste yourtime and money here. Read more

I don?t remember visiting a Halibut House fish and chips before and this is the first one I did and I am glad. Not only... everything we ordered came perfect but what completely blew me away is the interior decor. It almost feels like a giantgreenhouse with matured Banana, bamboos, lemon and Guava plants, which has very soothing effect on you. I have never seen aguava plant that too laden with ripe fruits in this part of the world. Owner is definitely a plant lover and have incorporatedit in the decor of the restaurant, Kudos! If there were 10 stars available I would have happily given it to this location!! Read more

Not at all impressed with the shrimp, scallops and onion rings. The taste was just off and the onion rings were too thin with... almost no onion. The young lady who took care of us was very sweet and efficient. Shame the food isn't great. That little boxcost $20+tax Not a good value. Read more
