Awesome Subway location. I go here about once every 2 weeks and get a chicken Bacon ranch sub on gluten free bread. We visited this location yesterday to purchase two salads. The salads were made by hand by a very friendly staff member who... took great care in preparing our salads with our specific ingredients... On Friday March 12/2021, I was at Subway on Water Street in Port Perry, On. The entrance to the restaurant is restricted to the... point, the commercial door will not open beyond 90 Degrees as it should for clear and safe passage in or out of the store; Iunfortunately injured my right elbow when I attempted to walk out of restaurant as the doorway appeared to be restricted & couldonly open ?approx 60 Degrees in restricting access; it appears the door closure-plunger where it attached to door has ripped outthe fastening bolts to the door, and clearly reattached incorrectly in restricting access; myself being a businessman &landlord, this is clearly unsafe in result of a fire, and I thought i should make u aware of, for your Action?s &rectification; The food was good. The guy who served me was nice. Place was clean. Service was fast. My sub was also built good, he actually understood extra... lettuce and green peppers. I usually have to tell them more when I ask for extra. Read more
We dropped in for a bite to eat after closing a client's pool. The location is perfect with ample parking. Facility is outdated... but well kept and tidy. We were served by Kelly. There was a customer before us. Kelly cleaned the counter, disposed hergloves, washed her hands and put on a new pair of disposable gloves after the customer before us left. She is super friendly,very courteous and a pleasant to chat with during the time she garnished both our subs. We both had 6inch tuna and she spreadthe tuna evenly. Garnished our condiments evenly. I asked for all cheese except grated cheese and that were placed evenly aswell. THANK YOU FOR GARNISHING EVERYTHING EVENLY!!! (I hate it when some part of my sub is missing tuna or condiments). Wedined in and there was a customer came in, she was served by another worker. Kelly came out to filled up condiments and therepeated customer exchanged a few words with Kelly. As she was leaving she said "Enjoy your long weekend Kell". That left alasting impression for me. This is incredible to see great customer and she put herself in the shoes of customers when makingthe subs. I wish other locations have employees with this kind of attitudes for their customers.
