A friend and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here. We were told we may have to wait a bit for our food but the wait was not long and... our server, Erin was always checking on us. My chicken, brie and cranberry sandwich was very good but the cauliflower soup withpoblano (who knew they pair so well) was absolutely delicious. The owner checked in on us periodically which was very nice.First visit but definitely not last. Read more

Visited the Piano Cafe with a group today for lunch. The Cucumber Gin cocktail was excellent, and very refreshing. I ordered... the Lobster and Crab Mac and Cheese, as did several of the others, along with the baked French onion soup. One of our group, atrue French onion soup afficionado, was disappointed that the soup wasn't a true "baked" version, but had only been in the ovenlong enough to give a good melt to the cheese. The Lobster and Crab Mac and Cheese was definitely cheesy, no complaint there..Several of us ordered it including the lady who sat across from me and a gentleman who sat at the end of our long table. Iwatched both fork huge chunks of lobster from their ramekins. Alas, mine contained one piece of fake crab and not a singlepiece, or even a visible shred, of lobster. I persevered, optimistically hoping a piece of lobster would appear before I reachedthe end, but...no such luck. I did mention it to our server when she collected the dishes. Nothing came of it so when it cametime to pay I asked if she had brought it up. I was told that it was all mixed together before being placed in the ramekins andshould have been evenly distributed. I reiterated that it was not. It was quite obvious to the people beside and across from methat there was no lobster in my dish, but that was the end of it. Not sure whether I would return. There were a number of itemson the menu that I'd be interested in trying. However, I love lobster, and when a dish that is supposed to contain it, doesn't,and nothing whatsoever is done to acknowledge or address that, it does not leave a very good impression. Read more

We stayed at the piano inn for 3 nights in the coachman suite and it was lovely. The room had a cozy character, was clean and... spacious. The fridge and microwave were helpful and there was a nice sitting area to eat. Rob was great and helpful, checkingin was easy and convenient. The food was also great and the inn is right downtown with great shops a brewery and the waterfrontall with in a minutes walk of the inn. Read more

Got the chicken caesar wrap with house salad with their poppyseed dressing (recommendation of server). Food was excellent,... especially the salad dressing. Service was quick and friendly, even during a busy Friday lunch. The owner is lovely and waschecking in with her customers. The restaurant is also decorated beautifully with a variety of art pieces and historical ones.Overall, excellent experience for a quick tasty lunch. Read more

We stayed in the Poet's Corner suite for a 3 night stay. We had stayed at the Piano Inn a number of years ago and enjoyed it... very much. The rooms are lovely and very well maintained. I appreciated the fact that there was milk for my coffee in the fridgeas well as a couple of water bottles. Everything was great and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The owners seem to takepride in maintaining the suites. I would like to see a recycling container in the suite. We left a bag of our recycling for theowners to recycle. But if truth be told...the REAL reason I love staying at the Inn is the opportunity to have their AMAZINGsticky toffee pudding!! It was worth the trip just to enjoy this fabulous dessert. I've made sticky toffee pudding, but itdoesn't compare to this version. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.... We'll certainly return. Read more

A great experience. Owner/manager checked our meal. Tessa our server, was great on the back patio. My wife had the pear,... walnut, goat cheese and chicken salad and I had chicken, brie, bacon wrap. Both were excellent. Would definitely return. Popular around lunch; make a reservation Read more

Not a lot of choice for lunch in Port Perry. very pricey for the type of menu. Mixed lettuce Greens , "canned pears", feta,... walnuts and hardly any chicken ....layed onto a wrap ?! 17.95. The dressing wasn't anything special. The restaurant doesn't usefresh fruit ... canned?! Soups are cream based and only one choice. Very limited gluten free menu and no vegan options. Niceatmosphere but no value in my opinion. Read more
