The staff was very friendly. Food was bomb. We got the texana fajitas, sopes, and flautas. Best decision we made. The drinks... were real good. Our server was the best. I?ve been here a handful of times over the last year and half. Not a bad place for dinner, but the lunch menu is very limited?... only two or three specials that include one taco. The drink list is extensive, and I?m not a big margarita fan but their chilimango margarita is very tasty. The service has always been quick and friendly. The flavor and quality of the food is what youwould expect from your typical Mexican restaurants you find in smaller towns. Nothing special, but a good spot in Port Royal ifyou want an inexpensive meal that?s filling with a spicy margarita. Read more
There was absolutely no seasoning on the steaks. None of them. We ordered carne asada.... No seasoning. Steak quesadillas...... Nope. My belly was sad and my taste buds asked me, "I got excited for this?" The restaurant was beautiful tho. Outdoor seatingwas nice too. Waitress was super sweet, too! I had late lunch, and it was nice to see they had a good selection of vegetarian choices. Had spinach enchiladas with bean... chalupa. It came with beans and rice, chips and dip. All were very good. 3.75 / 5.0 Food was a average on the whole, but was above average in part. Same for drinks and service. Chips were a bit... stale. Texas dip was solid. The premium ceviche was tilapia only (no shrimp) that was my fault for not reading but caught me offguard. Al Pastor was fine but didn't taste like Al Pastor. Sopes themselves were good. Molcajete was as expected and the agavebowl was good. Place is a little beat up. Wasn't dirty but needs some maintenance. Our server was great at times but seemedoverextended. Cucumber margarita was good, house margarita was fine. Not sure if we'll be back without a remodel. Read more
Let me start by saying the atmosphere here is fun and very inviting. Margarita's are very tasty! They run a great Happy Hour... special on Friday. The food was fair. My husband and I eat Mexican often and the rice and beans were good. Was not overlyimpressed as the chopped steak was chewy and dry. Other food, just fair. Mom thought her taco salad was the best ever. Dad and Fisher couldn't finish their large portions of fajitas and carne asada. ... I really enjoyed my street steak tacos and the portobello mushroom taco, although I couldn't tell that it was portobello andjust not regular mushrooms, but still good! Read more
