A wonderful place to stay in a beautiful town! We stayed in Carriage House 1 and it was the perfect spot for our family. The... room was very clean and had everything we needed, many thoughtful touches! The closed in private patio was an awesome space forour kids to play when weren?t at the beach. It?s in a great location, all a quick walk to the main beach, lift bridge or thedowntown! They also serve the absolutely best breakfast on a beautiful wrap around patio deck! Great stay and great value! We stayed in the carriage house with dedicated porch. Our dog was welcome and the room was... comfortable, had everything we needed, and was clean. Location is perfect for walking around Port Stanley and gives easy accessto the beach. Breakfast was excellent and the service was great. An easy recommendation. Read more
This place is magical. Port Stanley is a dreamy little village but the Windjammer is beyond anything I?ve experienced! Adorable,... cozy, lovely rooms with multiple pillows, soft sheets and cozy blankets. But it?s the restaurant that makes this place!!!There?s something so whimsical about a restaurant inside of an inn but this one is a beautiful century home so it?s even morebeautiful! Kim, the owner, is a truly gifted chef. The best steak I have ever had in my life was made here along withincredible seafood, the best desserts and amazing sides. I know it?s weird to talk about mushrooms but Kim?s mushrooms are thebest I?ve ever had. A stay at the Inn comes with free breakfast each morning and it?s not your ordinary continental breakfastbut rather a full custom made meal, complimentary! Her waffles are beyond but even the standard bacon and egg breakfast isdivine. Even through the winter months, my partner and I have made, and will continue to make, staying at the Windjammer abi-monthly event and Kim just makes you feel so welcome and important without being overbearing or up in your space. TheWindjammer is a magical place and do yourself a favour and stay here and book dinner at the inn restaurant!!! You won?t regretit. If you like cats, the beautiful Widget likes to roam the property and you might get a glimpse of her or maybe even a stop,flop and roll over. :) Read more
