I've been to the Anchor a couple of times for the food. Seems like a decent bar, but I want there at peak bar times. The anchor... burger and truffle fries are amazing. This is by far the most flavorful burger I've ever had. "Aunty's frybread taco" on theother hand, is garbage. Ok, the toppings are good, but that isn't Indian frybread. At least not Native American frybread, likethey are trying to make it sound. It is far more like a piece of Naan tossed on the grill to warm. Just look at the lastpicture, flat, dense dough, and pretty flavorless. I couldn't finish the bread. If you've ever had a real Indian frybread taco,this will disappoint and makes aunties everywhere cry. Note to the anchor - having a white dude make a poor excuse for frybreadand passing it off as "Anty's", you may not be coming out and saying it's an "Indian taco", but you know that's what you'reinferring and some would call that appropriation. We stopped in during an event in town. We sat outside with our dogs. The service was superb! Best fries ever and the hotdogs... was the best I've ever had. I'll definitely be back. Thank you. Read more
My wife and I decided to try this place out. Got the smash burger with a side of fries and an order of wings (1/2 hot with blue... cheese sauce, 1/2 garlic truffle). Everything was delicious. I'd favor the hot wings over the garlic just because the flavorfor the garlic truffle seemed to be just in the crushed garlic sprinkled over thr wings. Had to grab some to eat to get thatflavor. We originally decided to sit at the window by the door but ended up moving due to so many flies buzzing around by thedoor that we had to shoo away from our food. Read more

I can't say much on the night scene but I do stop in often for lunch. Everyone who works here is super cool. The food is really... good. I usually have the smash burger or wings but I have been trying new things on the menu The torta and the Italian beefsandwich are great. If you're a local or not you'll feel at home here. Quality establishment. Open when others aren't. Won't cut corners on food, nothing frozen out of a bag. Amazing crew.
