Good food, clean, nice old school diner feel. I was surprised that given the four bacon or four sausage egg breakfast cost... exactly the same that the waitress wouldn't sub two of both, but it's a nice place. I was born in 1970, and this kind of placeappeals to me for nostalgia. If you're looking for fancy, this isn't it but it has a nice view and the food is good. Long livethe '80s and '70s. Read more
Had breakfast here this morning...very tasty. Eggs over easy, hashbrowns, sausage, and sourdough toast. Of special note the eggs... and hashbrowns. Though the eggs were a bit beyond over easy they were nevertheless very tasty...had a nice and flavorful crispyedge. The hashbrowns were crisp and tender and not soggy. ???????? Add the expansive view of the bay and cordial wait staff andyou have a great little dinner. This place is definitely on my go back to list. Read more

After getting off the ferry this was our first stop. It?s definitely a busy place. And for good reason. I had the French dip... sandwich and my wife had the fish sandwich. Both were great ????. I ordered the soup of the day with my sandwich but theybrought me the clam chowder instead. That was a great mistake. Best chowder I?ve ever had. Arriving a little early for our ferry to Coupeville, we grabbed a bite at The Bayview Restaurant in Port Townsend. We found the... restaurant clean, the staff friendly and the food delicious! Tucker was our server and he was very attentive and paid attentionwhen I asked for "crispy fries". Those were some of the best French fries I had ever eaten. They were hot, crispy and lightlysalted! Hats Off to Tucker and the cook - I think it may have been Christine??? Each table has a great view as they are righton the water and you have a front row seat watching for the ferry to arrive.
