Amazing sushi rolls and easily the best ramen we have had in a long time. Not too salty and a good blend of add ins for flavor... and texture. Highly recommend. We ate the miso ramen and Victorian Sushi roll. We would like to come again next time we arevisiting Port Townsend. Read more

Best Japanese food in town! The tonkotsu ramen is my go to main and always have to order an appetizer of the karaage chicken. My... kiddo loves it! The portion sizes reflect the price tag wonderfully. It can get very busy at peak meal times but its worth thewait! Read more

Although we asked for vegetarian dishes at the counter, the soba noodles with vegetables and tofu and the udon noodles with... vegetables and tofu, we were given the correct soba noodles dish with vegetables and tofu, a chicken udon noodle dish, andadditionally a sushi dish, which we did not order. We had also indicated that we wanted to eat outside at the table and chairson the sidewalk at the time of the order. We waited outside for the order and after about 20 to 25 minutes, we were told wecouldn't be served outside and they would have to prepare our orders to go. After another 5 minutes we were given our food in"to go" containers and then we discovered the wrong order items. Upon pointing out the discrepancy of what we ordered and whatwe received, we were told that they doubted that we had actually ordered vegetarian dishes at all because the dishes we claimedto have ordered were not vegetarian because they have fish sauce in them. After asking what the solution to the problem was, they suggested a stir fry rice noodle with vegetable dish, which is vegetarian. We asked them to prepare the vegetarian dishesand ate them on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. They were ok but a bit too salty. Read more

Don't go here. They are short staffed. I went grocery shopping first because of the long wait time (which the waitress who is... very nice did tell me.) My sushi was left out on the counter for a half an hour with no refrigeration. Because I was starving, Idecided to eat the Taylor Street roll. It was the worst sushi I have ever eaten. The roll was doused in chili oil. Terrible. Let's see if I get sick. Read more

If your looking for a quick spot, this might not be the place. It is a small joint that is always busy and food may take up to... 30-40 min to come out. HOWEVER, it is totally worth it! The food is a quality on another level you can tell there care aboutthere presentation and how everything tastes. It cost me $32 for ramen, gyoza, a cucumber roll and a soda, totally worth it andthe price point is great for the quality! This is a must stop spot for Port Townsend! Read more

Pandemic-friendly storefront makes ordering "to go" food easy. We ordered ahi tuna sashimi tacos. Delicious. Freshness of the... ingredients equaled only by the presentation. Highly recommended. Read more
