I came in for lunch and found a nice, simple menu. I had no idea I was in for a treat! This is locally grown farm to table so... you get what is in season. The crab cakes were delicious and the fresh made potato chips were served with a leek dip that evenmy toddler would eat. The sliders hit just the spot and filled with flavor. Read more

My personal favorite in all Port Townsend. The menu is short but everything is great. The pork bao is delicious, pork hamburgers... are amazing and the salad was fresh and well prepared. I had the nut pie which was good but I also spotted the other dessertsand looked well served. The place was an actual guardhouse so you can actually sit on a cell. This place is a gem! I posted a picture of the story. It's located in the state park in an old guardhouse. Some of the jail bars... are still there. Owner/server set up a brilliant menu with some of the best chowder I've ever had. Everything here is homemade(chips, bread, chowder etc.) and done with care. The ambiance is fantastic. Management changes have pulled away the black curtains that had stifled this hip, slick & cool spot. Don't be confused... not a... hipster spot. Just hip... maybe even, "hep." Cocktails are innovative and evolve as the bar manager is the centre of thesuccess. Food is hit and miss but improving. Staff are locals and know all the answers to, "businesses you want to avoid."
