The worst Mexican food I've had but I like the actual place itself. Fun bar, clean, and nice staff. I would come here again for... drinks but cannot recommend the food. Read more

Service & staff are excellent. Had to send cold / part frozen food back. They returned quickly with new food. Prices have... increased since 2020 but that's to be expected. Read more

I?m in utter shock that this place is in business. The food is very UNauthentic Mexican food. Growing up in Texas, near the... Mexico boarder, I have had plenty of great Mexican food and was looking forward to eating here as Mexican food is our familyfavorite. Not only was this food not true Mexican food, it was just bad. It was either bland and had no flavor or it was justnasty. I should have checked the reviews before deciding to eat here because it looks like others have had the same issues myfamily and I had here. The fact that some people actually enjoy the food is just mind boggling. I can only assume that they weredrunk and their judgment was off. Also, it wasn?t just that the food was bad. The food was also extremely overpriced. Nothing ishomemade. For these prices, I expected some great homemade Mexican food but it was just the opposite. Everything is straightfrom a box/can/bag. Save your time, money, and tastebuds and just go to Tellos down the street. That is actual authentic Mexicanfood that tastes amazing for good prices. We would have went there if it wasn?t closed. Never again, will we ever enter at this?Beanies? establishment. Absolutely disgusting. We couldn?t even finish our meals. After taking a couple bites, we threw in thetowel. Not even my kids would eat their quesadillas or nachos. When we asked for the check, our sweet waitress noticed somethingwas wrong and got the manager. The manager?s response to this was ?well these are our recipes and other people like them. I willgive you your meals half off since you didn?t eat them.? I will add that the manager was a bit rude but the waitress was verykind. Read more

I mean, I could have paid the same for a steak dinner at Texas Road house?but?.About as inauthentic Mexican as I?ve ever been... to, not that I mind the Jimmy Buffet atmosphere, but you?d be better to save the money and make your own tacos for a week. 2adults, 2 kids?over a hundred dollars for a spoon of rice and beans and two small tacos each. Food is way over priced, smallportions, plastic cups. Wait staff is blah. Felt the same as others?ripped off. Gave two Stars cuz it didn?t taste horrible butI won?t return. I really hate giving bad reviews, but I can?t believe I worked 4 hours for 6 tacos and some dried out chickenfingers. Read more

We spent $70 for two meals, two alcoholic drinks and one standard beverage. The service was on the slow side with very few... tables actually seated. No waters were offered. No complimentary chips and salsa but you can pay $10 for a 4-dip chips and salsainstead. The food was very dry, subpar and had very little outstanding flavor for the price of $20/each plate. I got the combotwo tacos in hard shell and two tamales. He got chimichanga and two tacos, hard shell. I've never seen Mexican food sooverpriced in my life. $20/combo plate. Beans were dry and pasty, made me thirsty. Rice was good but only got a spoonful. Mypartner and I were completely unimpressed with the hard shell tacos which we felt we could do better making our own at home. Themojitos were tasty and probably would have tasted better if there were any actual alcohol in them but instead we got to pay $10for overpriced juice. The horchata was good but it was so sweet, we couldn't finish it and it had an overly sweet additive init, like vanilla syrup or something like that, that completely detracted from the taste of an horchata. It's clearly a placenot run by people that inherently know anything much about Mexican food. I saw a Latina lady at the table next to us send backher soup and look very unhappy with her meal. How do you mess up soup? I give it two stars for the cleanliness and nice colorsof the place. Needless to say, we won't be returning and we will definitely make sure not to recommend this place for peoplethat know what real Mexican food should taste like. Read more

Beanies is always a great place to go. The food was excellent and the drinks were delicious. My friend had a regular margarita... on the rocks and I had a raspberry mojito....so yummy. I highly recommend Beanies if you're looking for good Mexican food inconvenient downtown Port Washington. They also have a pet friendly outdoor patio area. Read more

Service was great and friendly as well as prompt. The food however was completely tasteless. I had the Chipotle steak tacos... (pictured here) and it tasted like nothing and was completely bland. Their house salsa and chips was good though but that wasabout it. Read more
