We really do love Beijing, although you guys have REALLY upped the prices! The Crab ragoons are now almost 8 dollars( which if... fine cause I love them) but it seems you guys keep stuffing them less and less! You guys use to really stuff them! Now I'mbasically eating a shell with barely any flavor caue there's barley any crab in them! I know I am not the only one who hasnotices how much less crab you get in them now!!! Read more
Stumbled upon Beijing Chinese Restaurant for the first time, yesterday and I am sure glad I did! I don't live in Portage but was... visiting a friend close by in Valpo. We just had a taste for Chinese. Our starters were egg rolls and shrimp Pad Thai, both ofwhich were excellent. It's when I got to their beef and broccoli that I really lost it. Absolutely delicious! The beef was meltin your mouth tender and the broccoli was cooked perfectly. Hands down, the best I have ever had even after having lived inChicago many years. I'll definitely be back there and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for outstanding Chinesefood. Read more

Probably hands down the best crab rangoons, steamed dumplings, and pork egg rolls I?ve ever had in my entire life!!! Plus, they... have some fantastic Pad Thai! The prices arent bad at all for the quantity and quality you receive. I give this place a 4/5instead of a 5/5 because the pad Thai needs definitely more sauce and the chicken is a little rubbery tasting. But all in allthis place is pretty good! Originally I wanted Jade Garden, but found out they are closed on Sundays. I figured I would give Beijing a try and did a... pick-up order. I went in and ordered, staff was very friendly, and they had the food ready in at 10 minutes. Everything wasfresh and delicious, but it was a little pricer compared to some other places. I will definitely go back again. *Note: If youplace an order through their own actual website, their prices are higher than if you just go in and order - that is why I gave 4instead if 5 stars. Beijing is my family's favorite Chinese restaurant. We have been ordering takeout from Beijing for several years, and the food... is consistently delicious. We have tried beef & broccoli, beef & veggies, beef & mushrooms, orange chicken, general Tso chicken,seafood delight, garlic shrimp, fried rice, and egg foo young.
