I am so disappointed in my service from portage Jj?s because last night I ordered 3 lasagnas and one of the lasagnas was the... size for a 5 year old to eat so I called back and expressed my frustrarion of driving from Gary to portage to get a kid sizelasagna, so they told me to bring it back and they would remake it for me. Once I got there the lady replied in the mostnastiest tone that it?s nothing wrong with it and refusef to make me another one, gave me my money back and wouldn?t allow me toeven buy another one! So today I just called to talk to another manager and tell her what I experienced last night and the socalled incompetent insensitive manager told me that i was wasting my time because she wasn?t going to do nothing about iteither!!!! I will never ever go to this restaurant again especially when they don?t have any manners of respect for their payingclients!!!!! Read more
Ordered a beef sandwich large fries an a slice of cheese cake. Needless to say they only brought the sandwich . Never had an... Italian beef taste like that from Jjs .if that's the new beef you use it's disgusting. It's disappointing cause I order twice aweek sometimes more from here. Read more
We were out of power in my neighborhood for 23 hours and it was SOOOOOO hot in the house! So I called J&J's and was so thrilled... that they were open!! I usually order for delivery, but that day I ate there! The service was GREAT! Chris took my order andthe manager (Floren) was VERY professional and gave me great service! I ordered the delicious and generous serving of lasagna.It came with a lettuce and tomato salad and garlic bread that was actually tasty and edible! (Too many places serve rubberytoast that's hard to chew!) I also ordered the chicken dinner to take home for later. It was very well-cooked and notgreasy!!! Wouldn't even give a star if it let me. 2nd time In a row ordering from this place and will be the last. 1st times 2 large fries... were all black and manager PJ says " oh they all look that way, nobody complains". Wrong answer, try changing the oil. Tonightordered a half sausage half cheese and 3 pieces were cheese only..called and manager says " maybe the sausage slid onto thecheese" not everybody is ignorant..I am pretty sure a pizzas JUST the sausage is NOT going to slid in a deep dish to the otherside and STILL look normal on sausage side. Managers attitude was horrible and seemed inconvenienced that THEY made the pizzawrong. I don't know what the owner Toni is doing but the managers she has is losing her business left and right. I gave this business 3 stars because the staff is great. No problems with anything as far as how they run their business. We... personally just did not like their pizza taste. We purchased a regular thin crust cheese and just didn?t like it. Sorry.Otherwise everything else is just fine business wise Read more
My favorite pizza! We got a party size half pepperoni and half meat, and a small kitchen sink pizza. Both were extremely good... with generous topping allocation. Fast friendly service as well. Read more
The manager with the missing teeth has horrible customer service skills. I went to pickup my food and I noticed the price was... much higher than discussed over the phone. The manager was very rude and refused to correct the mistake made by the employee.She never even acknowledged the mistake and instead blamed me for it. I walked out and had to order food elsewhere. That simplemisunderstanding could?ve been handled professionally and they would?ve had a returning customer. Now I will never spend anotherpenny in their establishment. Read more
