First time here in a decade, and had a really great meal here. The prices at first seemed a little high, but after the food... came to the table it was WELL worth it for the quality, presentation, and size. Plus the atmosphere is nice. We had the spicychicken sandwich, and the California club. Our server was great and friendly. The atmosphere is nice, and relaxing. Even thebathrooms were really clean and smelled good - that's rare for a restaurant bathroom. All around very clean and highlyrecommend. The side salad was also well worth a $1 upcharge. 8pm on a beautiful summer Friday, outdoor patio is empty and only several people at the bar inside. The drinks were strong, but... a female bar tender finished off the leftovers of a mixed drink from the shaker after pouring into some glasses... Just weirdvibes. Decor is meh but intoxicated people make it lively enough. Our cocktails were strong though. Wouldn't order food here, itseems like the food would be subpar. It's Friday night around 7:45 pm and this place is slow. The menus have food and drink stains all over them, sticky, waitress is... explaining to the table next to us that the gross menu is not her choice and she would do things different. Apparently the grossmenu is not only at our table but the staff knows it is a problem. Hey proprietor, are you taking notes? There are crumbs onour table, crayons under it, and we discuss leaving for sushi across the parking lot. We agree we should follow through eatinghere. Chorizo bites are no longer served but are on the menu. The waitress says she cannot believe that it hasn't been removedsince its been awhile. Hey proprietor, why are you ignoring your staff? They see issues with the restaurant that need to becorrected!! So, food - my wife orders a wrap that looks fine but says it tastes nothing our kids cannot do at home. She ratesit a 2.5. I order bolognese and the sauce tastes overcooked. It's a 2. Why does this restaurant have a 4.2 rating? Two othertables around us are complaining to each other about the food. We leave 8:30 or so and this place is dead. On a Fridaynight. What we liked: The decor was pretty decent but the toast for the bolognese was perfect! Will we return? Only had 1 drink, but it was delicious. (Strawberry peach sangria). Menu is a basic American food menu. Looked good but wasn't... what we were hungry for at that time lolol. Bartender was friendly and offered suggestions in the area as we weren't from Kzoo. Read more
My wife had the Bacon Jam and Brie Steak dinner. She said it tasted bad...I tried it, she was right. It wasn't good... the... cook may have been having an "off day" though. To their credit, they subtracted the meal from the bill. Atmosphere is pleasantand my fish was tasty...so give this place a try and see what you think. Read more
Nice place, nice ambiance. Great food and service. The wings were really good. My martini was really good but the one they... served was not cold. I had to put it back into the shaker because it was at room temperature. Other than that it was great. Themenu was not clean it had a crusty drop of food on it. (See picture) Gross. Read more
First time trying out this restaurant. We walked in and not to busy and I was impressed by the tables and how clean it was. The... waiter was at our table very quickly and the service was excellent. We were treated very well and the food was very good. Iwould give the food a 4 stars and that is good in my book. The beer was cold and overall the atmosphere was great. I will beback. Read more
I really enjoyed getting lunch here. The food as great and I enjoyed my drink. The fish and chips were really good and I loved... the fact that the fries were cooked to perfection. I would definitely come again. Read more
