I'll make this quick and simple because why not ???????????? The parking lot is always busy, but you should find one in a... minute of 2. So pls carpool if possible ???????? Great tasting food, but it depends on what you order. The ramen I ordered was4/5 and my wife's was 5/5. See second picture. It's my wife's order ???????? Service is great ? friendly staff. Be ready towait. This place gets busy. ? There's a lounge outside. ? Just show them pics I posted here, and they'll know what it is.Simple as that. ???????? For more short but accurate reviews, feel free to follow ???????????? Read more

i?m so happy there?s a silverlake ramen storefront in porter ranch! this a very busy location though, i waited 35 minutes for... takeout order. however, this isn?t the fault of the restaurant. the wait time is long for a reason?they have great ramen. it?salso a very new store. silverlake ramen is worth the wait since they have the best vegetarian ramen i?ve ate in california sofar. their veggie ramen has a good amount delicious vegetables that are roasted nicely. the broth is rich, creamy, and not toosalty or bland. i?ve always felt that other ramen places have broth that is too salty and oily. the noodles also tastedperfectly cooked. the price was decent for the portion i received and i see myself coming back to this location. Being a huge fan of the original in Silverlake, I was worried when I saw a shiny, new hip looking version opening in Porter... Ranch. My fears were put to rest after eating here. It's the same, flavorful ramen and I even found some new favorites! Not onlywas the ramen still the best around, but the spicy tuna over crispy rice was awesome! If you're a fan of the original, thislocation keeps everything the same, except now it's way closer and you don't have to wait 2 hours outside. There is still await, but at least you can go shopping. Can't wait to go back! Read more

My GF loved it (5 ? for dine in) the first time she went and wanted to have me join her but didn't have much time so we decided... to get it TO GO (Take Out). Surprisingly to us the portions on the take out were very comparable. We were half expecting to geta smaller serving size as is the case from some other places which was a huge plus to not have that happen as the prices arenever adjusted to reflect the downsizing. Actually Silver Lake Ramen ???? is well prepared to serve Take Out as their containershave very well written and clear explanations as to prepare the Ramen ???? as to get the best results and experience the sametaste as if you were to Dine In. So for this Review I gave it 4 ?'s for the (Take Out) where my GF would give it 5 ????'s fortheir Dine In Experience. Read more

I had very low expectations and I thought this ramen place wouldn?t be good because of the name and it?s in Porter Ranch, hahah... sorry. It was much better than I thought, AND they serve tsukemen, which is obviously what I got. The noodles could be betterbut the broth was flavorful enough that I have no complaints. The seasoned boiled egg is always good, too. I?m pretty happy tohave a ramen place with tsukemen close enough to home, since I can?t drive to Sawtelle all the time. Looking forward to comingagain, and hoping the tsukemen is just as good as before. The service we had was fine, so not sure what the other reviews arecomplaining about. Read more

Nice little ramen place with generous portions. The service was great, though it did take a fairly long time for the rice bowl... someone had ordered to come out but the servers were attentive and the food was pretty good overall. Read more

I read the reviews of this place and was concerned about how some were saying customer service was bad, but I went today with my... boyfriend and so far my experience was honestly really great. I went on a Sunday around 3pm and there was hardly anyone. Thewaiter said we could sit wherever we wanted, so we decided to sit in a booth. Atmosphere is very nice, and the service wasquick. I got Shoyu ramen with Tofu (in picture). What I loved about the ramen was that everything was fresh and cooked well. For sides, my boyfriend and I got the Karaage Chicken and it was amazing and crispy. We also got the Fried Gyoza and it was goodtoo, but we definitely liked the Karaage Chicken more. I definitely reccomend getting a combo because you get a bit more foryour buck, and more good food haha. Read more

Definitely one of my favorite ramen places, even after only one visit! There was a short wait until they could seat us, but the... food was worth the wait! Very flavorful, and much larger portions than I was expecting, almost didn't finish the bowl! Will becoming back here for sure, highly recommended! Read more
