A slice of home-made down-country goodness ! Everything is fresh and wholesome. Prices are very very reasonable. Children and... old-folks like me friendly. This is worth jumping off 79 for a 3 minute ride if traveling to the Outlets or running up fromCranberry (which we did). Fish and chips are hand-dipped FRESH filets, burgers are fresh hand-pressed patties and the fries arefresh-cut yummy. Desserts made there, soups too. Let the belt out a notch and stop on over. This is a nice mom and pop family restaurant. The staff is friendly and the food is good... and reasonably priced. I had the... deep fried cod with sweet potato fries. Hubby had the lemon pepper baked cod and coleslaw. Their coleslaw rivals the bigboys... yummy! So stop in, relax, and enjoy an old fashioned home cooked meal. (And don't forget to tip your server!) If you have time to stop by please do! Great place to eat, good family atmosphere and fun signs all over the place. We had... several dishes which included roast beef (this was super tender with great veggies), fish and chips ( I sub?ed onion rings forthe chips. Fish was hot and tasty along with crisp onion rings), meatloaf (wonderful flavor that included mashed potatoes andgravy), BBQ sandwich ( tasty with coleslaw) and chicken nuggies for the toddler (which were very tender). Brown?s is locatedabout 1/2 mile from the freeway. They have a great menu and I know my family and I will be stopping every time we drive bythere!
