Their lobster roll, yum!! BUT... my mother called and wanted a salad, nbd, right? Well they said no, you gotta "pick a pre-made... salad once you get here" would it kill the order taker to just grab a garden salad and add it to the order? She didn't get hersalad because I was already on my way to pick it up and the order taker never told me. Read more

Third time this location can't get an order right, I called in a large sandwich with just ham, cheese, pickle and greek olive... with hot relish and made a regular Italian with black olives and no hot relish... how hard is it to read a recipe and make whatit says? I even specified this time it was just ham, cheese, pickle and Greek olives over the phone.. Read more
My peeps said I had to try Amato?s Italian Grinder. I like Italians and I like Grinder so why not? The overall experience... dampened by enthusiasm. The store is more of a convenience store atmosphere so expect zero ambiance. The cashier was pretty hoton the outside but rather empty on the inside bordering on New England rude. Brewed tea? - no way grab a canned drink. Qualitychips offered- not really. The grinder looked delicious on the outside but had standard processed meat. The olives were niceas were the peppers. I am usually critical of bread, but is was soft and very fresh. The crowd was more the food stamps crowdthan the hipster foodies Portland is known for so I give it an average rating overall.
