We were so exceptionally pleased with our dinner last night! We have come to Boda before, but last night was phenomenal. The... special menu shrimp was the best shrimp I have ever had! I even recommended it to the table next to me when they asked what wewere eating. Sticky rice balls are always good, but a bit on the salty side so buyer beware. We split a salad with level twospice and added vermicelli, as well as the tofu pad Thai. I love the omelet presentation and thin noodles that’s used for thepad Thai here. Service was on the slower side but the food came out so fast that it made up for it. Thank you, we will be backsoon! Read more

We had the late night menu - around 10PM. Service had an OK vibe. I totally get that, being a late night on Saturday. FYI, they... offer chili flakes if you want to kick up the spice level of your dish. Me and my friend both order the Pad See Ew. I reallyenjoyed it. It was sweet, but the noodles seemed to be cooked well. I enjoyed my Thai Sticky Rice Ball. It had a grilled flavorto it. Also crispy. Wasn't burnt for me, but a little salty. Overall, I'd give it another try, maybe the Beef Skewers & DrunkenNoodles, and not so late at night. Read more

As an-almost-daily consumer of Thai food, this place definitely checked a few boxes. We had a few dishes however my favorite,... hands-down from this establishment were the mussels. It came in a curry with sticky rice on the side. The curry was DELICIOUS.It was the right amount of spicy and tangy. If you cannot handle spice, make sure you reconsider or ask to make it less spicier. But as a spicy food lover, this was a dish to remember. The sauce was also transferred to the other orders as it was a greataddition. Definitely recommend this place due to the food. The environment is rather -okay. The structure of the restaurant ispretty comforting and chill, however aside from our waiter, everyone else’s vibe was a bit off. From the moment we weregreeted by staff to being sat, it was just weird. Unsure if it’s because there’s not many colored folks around that area butdefinitely felt like we were pieces of art being stared at (“Get Out” moment, ifykyk). For this reason, if I do return, Imight just do take-out. Definitely will recommend to eat inside the restaurant if you’re comfortable, as everyone else seemedas they were having a blast. Again, the food was awesome, hot & fresh … and ready to be consumed as the service from ourwaiter was pretty quick. Read more

We had a small wait on a Tuesday evening, but it was worth the wait. We had the quail eggs (must try) and the goi tod (mushroom... salad). Both had such unique flavor and texture. I ordered the Pad Thai, it was glass noodles instead of the traditional ricenoodles, and then wrapped in a thin omelette. Out of this world. Boda is a must try whenever we are in town. Read more

Service was great even when it was busy. Some of the best pad thai and drunken noodles we've had. Pad thai was unique because it... was wrapped in egg. Looked like an omelette. Quail eggs were delicious but a very simple dish. I've never had quail eggs beforebut this tasted like regular chicken eggs. Everything we had was gluten and shellfish free. Very allergy friendly place. Have togo back and eat more! Read more

Amazing Thai food in Portland. They do a great job with everything. Have a super interesting and creative cocktail list. All the... food we had down to the roasted nuts was delicious. The quail eggs specifically are phenomenal. Highly, highly recommend goinghere, it will not disappoint. Space is small and decently casual but has a lively ambiance and a very friendly staff.
