If you were looking for a dive bar this is your place! If you aren't...you might as well turn around. This place, we'll you just... have to see for yourself. It has character, smells like an old locker, one bartender in the front , taxidermy animalsEVERYWHERE, and it's hot like a sauna. But if you can look past all this.. the floor lights up! Very cool spot for people that love antiques and shaking their a**. A novel experience for sure.
80s night isn?t the fun time it used to be, it?s just a power trip for the door staff. My friends and I showed up looking like... extras from ?Stranger Things?, some of us in outfits we had successfully worn in before, but the door guy said we had to pay.When we countered that we were dressed for the theme he said that all of our outfits either weren?t the right decade or weren?tinvolved enough, and that if we didn?t like his ruling then we could leave. Yet the guy in line before us got in for freewearing a 70?s polyester button up, cargo pants, and skate sneakers. Where?s the consistency? Did 80?s night change to acombined disco/90?s night that was never announced? It also feels like half of the music played on 80?s night is actually fromthe 90?s, so the whole 80?s theme is pointless. 2 stars instead of 1 because the drinks are still good, the light up dancefloor is still as fun as ever, and the newer bathrooms are a great addition. Meh. The back bar bartenders do a great job and it's a good place to dance and people watch. It has a strange musty smell and I... would dread seeing the inside in full light. I feel as though it hasn't been deep cleaned since 1989. Can be fun if you go withthe right people. Security is definitely not trained very well. It's obvious they lack the proper skill sets, the door guy seemsto be the exception to this though. Read more
